The Titans are sitting some good defenders, so hopefully the RBs can show out. If Pollard has any issues it's best to rest your Playmaker, especially when TEN has raised the white flag already.

I've been saying KM should use all 3 of the RBs, so maybe Malik can make an impression where the Staff might figure him into the plan moving forward.

TP n Davis played well together earlier when Zeke was hurt, so let's see what Zeke n Davis look like vs the Titans JV defense.

Haters gonna hate man.. It's what they do.. It's a fact of life that TP will be missing his 4th game in 4 years.. while Zeke is up to what 3 in 7 years? In fact with this game they will be even in games missed over the last three seasons.. despite Pollard playing half as many snaps and taking one third the physical punishment by not being asked to block as much or run inside as much. There is no need to make anymore of it than it is. Smaller backs tend to be less durable. It aint rocket surgery. TP is still a great player.. and I love that he is on my team.

Rocket surgery must be a Texas saying. ; )

Actually Davis is the smallest of the three. He has not had the benefit of a full offseason of training table and weight room. Watch him be 10 pounds heavier next year .. Hopefully he doesn't lose any quickness in the process as that is always the danger when you bulk up. But he can't play in the NFL at 205 pounds unless he wants to move to cornerback.
We haven't even brought up Ollison who is 6'2" 225 LB yet, and Zekes closest comp.

Queue RonaldT24's heeehaaw post claiming "Pollard can't take the punishment" but totally disregarding the time Zeke's missed games the past two seasons.
The last two seasons?.......Zeke played all last year with a bad knee. Maybe, it's meant that Zeke missed 2 games in the last two seasons......after someone on the Medical Staff told Jerry.....you can't do the guy like that.

Not good for my championship game in Fantasy. But I think it’s good to rest Pollard for the playoffs, I don’t believe he’s had the burst the last couple games that he had earlier

Hopefully they don't give the anchor Zeke more carries than usual and instead just use Davis as if he was Pollard when it comes to the running game.

Give Malik the bulk of the carries, and let's see if he can bring some extra juice to the team.

I would also adjust my offensive game plan to go with shorter passing routes so as to not stress out Malik's pass pro.

I was referring to his playing style. Some power, some speed.

Sit him Parsons Dlaw LVE pollard and anyone with sny lingering injury
Serious injuries, yes. No way you sit those other guys. We still have a shot at division even if not likely. Sitting them would be moronic. Next week, if we have no shot at division, I agree on resting guys.

You guys and your downplaying literal legends and champions to prop up your fav players is always funny to see.

You're like the Dak fans that smack talk about Aikman for not having crazy numbers to defend Dak.

Just go on and say Zeke is better than Emmitt. You know you wanna.
Why are you trying to change what I said? Because you can;t handle the truth.

You zeke haters make a big deal about Zeke's running yards production. Then when I show you Emmitt's....you get all huffy.

Like lying little children.

It's not downplaying, or calling one better than the other. If I wanted to say that I dam well would have said it.

It's just the truth, that you can;t handle. It contradicts your opinion. And...

Zeke got hurt, came back into that game, then the team decided to sit him a couple of games. So Zeke could have played in every game he's missed. But...

With that being said you have to remind some posters that the same goes for Pollard. He could have played in the games he's missed the last two years also.

You don't necessarily need a "league leader" but you do need great players.. Great players are capable of being a league leader if given enough opportunities. You don't have to shoot somebody in the head with a .44 magnum to know that it will "blow your head clean off." Having a guy with that kind of ability on your team allows you to hold that threat over defenses. That opens up your passing game.. Having a guy like Pollard keeps a defense from being able to pack it inside for fear of him taking it out to the edges for a big play. Having a guy like Zeke means they have to keep bodies in the box or he will grind them down to paste 4-5-6 yards at a time. Elite weapons allow your offense to dictate terms. I like having multiple guys for the defense to worry about.

Our strategy is based around having a top RB that can do both. Because we don't run a 2 rb backfield like the Saints

We're not gonna change our scheme to fit the talent so we need to be drafting a top RB that can play inside or stretch the corners and catch balls also.

Our strategy works great until we get turned one dimensional passing by a 4 man front and then our oline turns into a pumpkin and Dak is running for his life!!!!

And we have no quick release passing game to combat that.

It's been that way since 2010

If you call the plays the way you want to call them....they will.

first 2 drives you run the same up the gut play 3 times in a row. Stalled.

Then you stop using him, complain because he had a bad game. Washed up.

You musta hated Emmitt too. 4.2 ypc. really SUCKS!

Zeke...4.4 ypc.
Haven’t you realized yet. He hates everyone

Time for Davis to demonstrate that we don't have to pay Pollard.
I do not understand how so many of you thin you can just replace Pollard. He has made huge play after huge play all season long, and last season. I would be all for using a 7th rd pick to replace pollard if you could ensure you can replace him. Fact is, its not that easy.

I've always said he's not a bell cow back. He's really good and flashy, but he doesn't play with pain and do the little things that it takes to be a stud. Hope he heals up...he and Zeke make a great pair.
really? Pollard has missed a lot of games? people make STUPID comments all the time around here. Pollard cant run between the tackles? BS, he does all the time.

Pollard took a shot right in the thigh 4 whole days ago and if you ever played sports, you know that a shot like that hurts lie hell a few days after it happens.

Cowboys should not rest anyone until the game is clearly in hand. AS of gametime, we absolutely need this game. Now if the Eagles then win on Sunday, fine, sit as many as you want the following week.

It's funny how a guy that scores 13 tds from outside the 5 yard line is easily replaceable

That's what they said about Cooper who avged 7-8 tds

When did Lance Dunbar have 13 tds ha ha ha

All the "washed up Zeke" supporters have lost their mind. Even in the passing game Pollard has the most separation on the team js

My prediction is they restructure Zeke's deal and they sign Pollard to a new deal. Just a guess, but Jerry already made the comment the other day about looking forward to the shared future with Pollard.... something along those lines.
