so you are saying you would prefer us having drafted Hall, a RB over a starting left tackle?
Yes I am. And yes I said that on draft day. Hall or KWJ

Not that I don't like Smith. Btw

When wr wasn't on the board I thought we shoulda got a RB since they all fell to us

Now we're gonna be going into next year w Zeke

Why would a Pro bowl rb agree to play a complimentary part time role behind Zeke????

I don't think it's gonna happen.

He's gotten us down to the goal line and had to watch them substitute for Zeke too often when he could be leading the league in Touchdowns

I cant get into any of these guys brains. But in the end its all about the Benjamins, nothing else. If some team offers Pollard a significantly larger deal, he will go. If the Cowboys are really close or more, he stays, its that simple.

Also, dont underestimate these young players change in attitude when dealing with their long term health.

Back in the day, getting more carries would be the goal, but today, getting less carries for same money is probably preferred.

You think 20 years ago a QB would have went to the team to say he was having concussion symptoms in the middle of the week, knowing it will immediately put him on the bench, Like Tua just did? Not a chance in hell. These guys clearly are thinking about their health in ways players never did in the past.

Well if they let go of Pollard, they can EASILY draft a stud RB in the 1st or 2nd rd. I mean, I read in here everyday how easy it is to get that starting rb... so if we dont keep Pollard, replacing him will be like making a cup of coffee each morning, no?

It's all about marketing and not about winning.

They did and said the same thing about #82 for 6+ years beyond his expiration date also.

Yet in the last 2 playoff games Zeke went awol on us and we got Beat handily

Haters gonna hate man.. It's what they do.. It's a fact of life that TP will be missing his 4th game in 4 years.. while Zeke is up to what 3 in 7 years? In fact with this game they will be even in games missed over the last three seasons.. despite Pollard playing half as many snaps and taking one third the physical punishment by not being asked to block as much or run inside as much. There is no need to make anymore of it than it is. Smaller backs tend to be less durable. It aint rocket surgery. TP is still a great player.. and I love that he is on my team.

He can play, the coaches just don’t want him to play.

TP and his explosive plays are needed for the playoffs. Rest is fine by me.

Rest him. He is too important to what we do here. Maybe Zeke can finally break 100 yards for once.

The closer the game gets the more inclined I am to trot out Malik and run him until his tongue is hanging out.

I want to see what this kid has in a real NFL game with 20 plus carries, and his pass pro in at least 10 pass attempts.

Obviously we have to be careful in the situations with Dak, but I would give this kid a chance to show what he has got knowing that there is nothing behind him if he screws up.

A mini "Welcome to the NFL" moment. It's also a positive way for the team to get behind him if he can make a few plays. Sit Pollard, severely restrict Zeke with exception of a few key plays and run this kid with all he has got for this week.

Next week may be the same situation so this is a great opportunity for Malik to produce if he is expected to the man.

I am feeling we gotta know what we got in this young kid. These last two weeks could be a real opportunity for him to show and gain the team and the coaches trust.

huh?? Im not understanding what you mean. Marketing in regards to Pollard?

They sold that 1st ballot hof'er marketing hooplah for years well beyond his talent level and we were never locked in to enormous dead money.

If Zeke didn't have 18 million in dead money he'd be a goner long ago. We'd rather sell a one legged RB than bring in some talent. We had to beg for 2 years just to get Pollard involved.

This team has a single set power back mentality just like Ronnie says

We got rid of Collins, Gregory, and Coop. That's why we took t Smith, Sam williams, and Tolbert

All Self inflicted injuries by our fo. Cya by this fo. Gregory I thought was the only good move. Steele has done well though and Smith is pretty good.

Tyron went down so I get it

But you can't just draft players when every team knows ya weak at those positions.

It's hard to get a good wr at 24th pick much less the best RBS in the draft

Let the dinged up guys get some healing time. Get those guys down the depth chart in for some duty and ready for the playoffs. Davis is an explosive player. Looking forward to him vs. a very god run D.

Tee Higgins, Michael Pitman, Johnathan Taylor and Deandre swift all drafted in the 2nd rd/ Lamb, Jeudy and Ayuik all drafted at end of 1st.

Always want the Cowboys to win but this game is basically as meaningless for them as it is for Tennessee. I would rather be healthy for the playoffs than to see someone vital get hurt when they are basically locked into the 5th seed whether they end up 13-4, 12-5, or 11-6.

I've been wanting to see Davis all year. But we don't integrate rbs and tes very well going waaayyyy back

If it was 3rd and 28 and the game was on the line you'd still see a scrub te out there running Checkdown routes w Zeke. urgh

Every single time .

Saw it w #82 in 8 playoff games and a dozen elimination games that WE LOST!!!

We are slowly breaking the mold but we have a long way to go.

We could have a roster full of olineman and depth that can block but we'd rather carry 17 tes that can't score a playoff TD if there was a 50 million dollar Bounty and cant block either.

If it's 4th and one I'm marching out 7- 300lb olineman sorry

But Schultz will be out there getting thrown around like a rag doll

Until Philly locks up the #1 spot these games are not meaningless. Come Sunday afternoon we will know for sure. Until then this team can't backoff.
