I am just saying.. where were those garbage time TDs when the game was still competitive against the Bears?

Do you honestly believe Romo was the only QB last year who threw garbage time TDs? Honestly now ..... Your stand point is just completely asinine.

What a refreshing topic

This is a great thread, incredibly informative and full of stats to help educate the naive and/or ignorant fan base exactly how valuable Romo is. It is refreshing.

It's not like you're contributing anything useful, go read a thread on guard depth or something.

And Romos stats haven't translated into wins since 2009.

1-5 in 2010, 8-8 the past 3 years.

Romo is a big, big problem.

I think the most impressive thing is the detailed and respectable research you do. A breath fresh air there, mate. Keep up the good work.

Romo is a big, big problem.

They've had the worst pass defense in the league since 2010. No team from 2010-2013 has had more than two seasons where they ranked in the bottom ten in defensive passer rating. The Cowboys ranked in the bottom ten in all four seasons.

Its a rehash of the same topic. Anyone who hated romo before reading this still hates him

In the same dimension where your hero Peyton Manning's 55 TDs went during the 43-8 shellacking in the Super Bowl? Is there a point to your rambling about these empty stats you keep redefining?

He has a ring. Where is Romos again?

and btw... Peyton Manning all these years was carrying a 2-14 team. Imagine that.

Cowboys have been a big problem putting on him is frankly just stupid when you look at all the problems this team has had. Wilson and Romo situation are not the same. Romo does not have a 1st class defense, a running attack that is consistent. He has to throw as much as he does for this team to have a chance, Wilson does not, he can hand it off all day and run a bootleg or play action off of it as defenses come up the the line to stop Lynch. You are comparing 2 people in 2 very different sitations and acting as if all things are equal and there not. Football always has been and always will be a team sport, the best teams win championship, this is something that escape a lot of you around here.

I want to know the ppg the defense has allowed the past 4 years. I bet it isn't as bad as you people are making it out to be.

As for games that are in the 4th qrt when the game is within 7 points Wilson has put up 4 TD and 5 int, Romo has put up 8 TD vs 4 ints in these situations. It is nice when you can throw a pick and your defense can go out there and bail you out vs allowing the other team to march down field putting points on the board.

We've seen what Romo is capable of doing when he had a top defense in 2007 and 2009. Romo in Seattle wouldn't work.

2013 27 points a game, 2012 25 points a game, 2011 21.7 points a game and 2010 27.2 points a game. That is pretty damn bad.

Colts in 2010 - 24.2, 2011 - 26.9, 2012 - 24.2, 2013 - 21.0.

Made the playoffs 3 out of 4 times.

Notice the difference a QB makes. Did anyone make excuses for Luck in the playoffs against the Chiefs when the Colts defense gave up 44 points with 1/3 of the starters on the IR? Nope. Luck carried the team and outscored the Chiefs. The thing that is embarrassing is that Luck is a 2nd year player. 10+ year veteran "elite" QB Tony Romo would have scored 3 points like he did against the Vikings in 2009.

Do you ever get tired of saying the same things over and over again? Surely you remember typing this yesterday. At least put a little bit of effort into this.

That's it.

My brain hurts.

Back to work.
