There is no doubt that players such as Jordan, Bird and Magic wanted the ball in the final seconds. They loved the pressure that came with the last second shot. Former Cowboys like Roger and Troy had the confidence in themselves to want the ball in the last minutes and the mental strength to thrive in the high pressure situations. Some fans question the existence of a "clutch" gene in players, but these few examples prove that certain players have it. These players passed their confidence on to their teammates and it showed . The clutch gene is one of the most important traits for a QB . The players that gave it are also great leaders . I miss seeing great leadership.

This is complete conjecture. Pure opinion and emotions trying to be passed off as fact.

AGREE,,,,, you don't see people putting Joe Montana's stats out there.....the 4 rings speaks for themselves.....fans who support Romo are forced to use stats to prove their points...because Romo does not have the SuperBowl or Playoff wins on his resume.......the beauty of stats is, they can be used to support whatever argument the author wants to share.

The NFL is about winning championships not about who has the best stats........I will take rings over stats anyday and everyday

You don't see it, because Joe Montana is not subjected to the same stupid criticisms of his great play because of those team championships.

There's not a poster here who wouldn't take team championships over personal stats any day, so that's not saying anything. The only real question is what changes should best be made to make a championship possible.

And if that's the result you find, just start throwing out parts until you get results you like. What kind of analysis is that?

It is the kind to prove his point lol. 40 pages of this and the Romo lovers will still deny that Romo has a little problem. Unbelievable ! I was hoping for 30. KJJ has done a masterful job of putting on a clinic in this thread. Very impressive to say the least .

Hi.

I like to mix and match ********. It likely makes no sense long term, but I can paraphrase, lob out a few historic names, and hey...I'm right.

At least to me.

Kjj sets a new standard for idiocy in every post. You lose 50 hit points for being sad enough to reference him.

Ice, thread conversations set aside...it's good to see you about a Cowboys board.

Thanks. I'll post more when it matters, but the 9th romo debate is just stupid beyond measure to me.

She is starting to hear a song in her head though. It won't be long before she is whispering the lyrics.

I disagree he has debated for 40 pages and held his own against a gang that is blinded by their emotional attachment. I am smarter than this. I know better than to waste my time. I know that you can't use common sense to argue with homers, but once again the temptation to educate them was too much.

Do you read what you type?

Held his own against a gang...

They are blindsided but zerob chance that applies to you. Or him.

Youre not smarter you just think differently. I only wish wed spend time exploring differences.

Not using a given player to prove our own worth.

I am glad that you have joined us these last couple of days. I have missed our debates andI have missed our ability to keep our emotions in check and remain respectful during those debates even more. We could enjoy our debates and get a good laugh even through our disagreements. Respect can do amazing things for a friendship.

Won't be long before you say its Walter Payton singing.l

Ole Walter was born and raised a few miles South of my home. He was dirt-poor , but he didn't let that keep him from being a outstanding human being. He was cursed with that voice though. It matched a chunky lady more than a fatty.

Walter Payton is my favorite player n person from the NFL.

But you don't cite an extreme to define an average.

My reference to being smarter than this , meant that I should know better than to get involved in a thread like this . It is a waste of time and effort. I have nothing but praise for KJJ for having the patience to continue the debate even though he was outnumbered.
