To me its sad whichever way you put it. alot of ppl come up with excuses when our stadium has more opposing fans than us.

everyone wants to see our stadium.....
Houston is close...
pittsburgh fans travel well....
saints are close....
bears travel....
Niners....

its just the same thing over and over. no home field whatsoever.

The irony is all of those "excuses" are true. The Cowboys are a big draw and so is the stadium and the fact that people are selling their tickets will continue to bite us in the *** until they stop.

Also, it's the internet era so anybody can buy a ticket no matter where they live in the world. Fans invade other stadiums too. It's just that going to a Cowboys game is a big deal whether they're at home or on the road.

It was the first time Houston came to AT&T Stadium and their only appearance for 8 years. There are going to be teams whose fans travel, especially for the first time they come to the new stadium. Eventually you see the novelty die off (see the Giants)

I guess the thing that bothers me is the amount of opposing fans in the premium seating. It looked like the seats between the 30's in the lower sections were pretty full of Texans which indicates to me that alot of people with season tickets and deep pockets are selling off.

These are the tickets visting fans want, last year I went to the Lions and Bears games, I paid a premium price to be right behind the Cowboys. I did the same thing in 2012 going to Cinncinati.

Somebody mentioned in an earlier thread that they can't wait for NFC East games to start and I agree. At least we'll have a more Cowboy like atmosphere. At 4-1 the team should by now get the benefit of the doubt with some season ticket holders who have been cashing in (which I have no problems with - it's your money).

I agree that this has to stop. Right now the Cowboys have the worst home field advantage in the NFL. Can you imagine a near 50-50 fan split in Green Bay, Kansas City, or Seattle? Me neither.

It's not the opposing team fans. Dallas fans at the stadium always cheer when the offense is playing, particularly on 3rd downs. In the past they even put big signs on the screen telling people to be quiet when the offense is on the field. It's a real facepalm scenario.
