Exactly. So let's stop reading off his laundry list of non-crimes and pretending like there's any real merit to his release other than the fact that Garrett wanted to flex his muscles on a talent he felt was expendable.

You can get away with whatever you want if you're a starter. That's the lesson learned here.

No, you can't. Show me a starter on this team with a significant felony on his record. I missed Rolondo McClain and Joseph Randle rolling into Oxnard yesterday.

Garrett has already "flexed his muscles" plenty cutting guys who were on the roster and taking snaps like Davon Coleman and Corey White. It is meaningless to cut the KR who is 9th or 10th on the depth chart. Lucky had a short leash and had too many missed meetings and minor things.

Lucky committed a thousand sins before this.
Do we really want to start counting? This is a PR mess until it is fixed. You don't get accountability dismissing the little guy like that....you get laughter (at you). Do something, but do the right thing. A manager does things right.....a leader does the right thing. This ain't right, thanks to a crafty crook and Prince William County Police.

While everyone is going crazy over JG repeating the same answer, he did give an answer that was probably the most telling...

"We know lot a lot of things about our players that you guys don't know."

Seems like to me there's more to the Lucky story that they're not publicizing. Maybe he's protecting Lucky or maybe its BS. If it's BS then we'll find out after the NFLPA does their own investigation. However, it would be telling if the NFLPA doesn't take any other action after their own investigation. Obviously, by then most of the talking heads will move on to the next "controversy."

There are starters on this team with much bigger documented indiscretions than Lucky Whitehead has.

So they cut him yesterday because he missed a meeting A YEAR AGO?

You think the players will now believe JG when he talks about accountability, playing for your teammates and having their back?

JG is nothing but a politician with empty slogans and sound bites. He can talk the talk but can't walk the walk.

You'd have to be naive to think all players get treated equally in the NFL. One look at their contracts makes it clear that's not how it works. If you're really good, you get a long rope. Want more rope? Be a better player.

When your drama eclipses your skills, guess what happens? No matter who you are. That's the part that's equal for everybody.

Lucky's problem was that he's not skilled enough.
It must be the messageboard that is confusing people. I'm not naive or anything else I'm speaking moreso about how some fans/people act in general. Like I said maybe it's the net but I don't understand why a lot of y'all don't see what I'm saying. Maybe my posting is that weak. If so I need to fix it.

Holy moly, we agree on something!
We probably agree on more than we disagree but some folks take this personal and or remember the disagreements more imo. As a matter of fact on another messageboard someone said the same thing a few days ago. For me everything is case by case not overall like or dislike like it feels like some really operate on because of messageboard dynamics. I think some people really think you dislike them or like them because we disagreed/agreed on a few things. For me that's not the case. We agree here will disagree in the future and it keeps going no biggie either time. Glad we can agree though today. Peace.

The funniest thing about this thread is the group of people that could care less about Lucky Whitehead (most, in fact, wanted him cut to begin with) but see an opportunity to whine like a ***** about Jason Garret and are taking full advantage. Talk about clowns. Too funny.
