We probably agree on more than we disagree but some folks take this personal and or remember the disagreements more imo. As a matter of fact on another messageboard someone said the same thing a few days ago. For me everything is case by case not overall like or dislike like it feels like some really operate on because of messageboard dynamics. I think some people really think you dislike them or like them because we disagreed/agreed on a few things. For me that's not the case. We agree here will disagree in the future and it keeps going no biggie either time. Glad we can agree though today. Peace.

You couldn't have said it better buddy.

Somehow I doubt it. Superstars get more slack than spares. Been that way forever. It will be that way forever.

Yep. The problem is when spares get the same slack as the stars. But even the stars should know when to fold em, know when to walk away, know when to run.

Fine...so am I the only who thinks the guy (wearing D cap) standing behind Rob Ryan looks a lot like Dak?
This game was played back in Sept 2012 at MetLife Stadium.
Who is that guy anyway....anyone know?

The guy behind the guy in the cap looks more like Dak if anything.

The point that some of us are arguing is that this could've been avoided. His lack of performance and off field issues shouldve had him gone a long time ago but they kept him around long enough for some more crap to come to the surface. They cut him yesterday on impulse to save face and "send a message" to the team..Result: No message sent, more negative PR.

They did inactivate him for being late to a team meeting last year. And there's been scuttle but the whole time that he had a lot going on in the background. He also struggled with his routes, given how elusive he was in the open field.

He was well-liked in the locker room, though. He's just a dude like Dez and some others who brings his own circus with him where he goes.

Your example would have a point if Lucky was cut when he missed a meeting last year. Difference is he was cut for something he did not do.
That's true. The biggest issue everyone has around here is the Timing of the player release. Everyone agrees that he wasn't going to make the team anyways but some would have preferred that was released earlier perhaps when the cowboys drafted Switzer or even last year when he was suspended 1 game.

I guess the cowboys wanted to keep him as insurance against injury to Switzer or any other receivers and planned on cutting him at the last cut date. Then the news broke out, and they just said screw it. Let him go.

No Lucky! No Peace! No Lucky! No Peace!.....this is a PR Mess.

This organization #CantGetRight...

All this means is this is our SB year lol.

That really does suck for Lucky, though.

I do hope he gets his shot somewhere. CFL might be a better fit for him, anyway.

He is better off being cut.

He had about zero chance of making the Cowboys roster. They would have to keep 6 WRs AND not keep the draft pick Brown. Only a serious injury to a WR in training camp would keep him on the roster.

Some team will give him a shot and he might have a legit chance somewhere else.

The way Linehan talked about Switzer, he is basically a lock.

The WR coach is a fan of Butler based on an interview from earlier this year.
