He had a great game. He was great in the playoffs last year too. He’s okay.

Like i said Jekyll and Hyde which indicates some good play and some very bad play. I watch every play and 200 rushing yards is not good D and will kill us down the road like it did against the Rams a few years ago and San Fran. Remember will lost to San Fran if you were watching.

LVE is an up n down player...one minute he makes a good play then the next he's playing terrible. Nobody's hating dude is inconsistent and I can see how it's frustrating for some.

When I see an opinion I disagree with, I'm going to express my opinion. That's what this place is all about. What I don't do is start at least one thread every week, bashing a player who doesn't deserve to be bashed, hoping a week will come along where I can say, "See? I told you so!"

Nobody was arguing everyone sucks because LVE does. So non sequitur. But only as strong as weakest link and great linebacking play is essential for championships. We dont have it unfortunately.

And all other players on the D team are actually quite fast for their position, not relative to Parsons.

I base my observations on each game, so if it sounds like a broken record, that is because of broken linebacker play. No it probably will not change. But I call a spade a spade. We are not getting by the best in the NFC or AFC with broken records.

Wow, LVE makes a stop and causes a turnover…..bad news, he is Dr. Jekyll and again looked mostly terrible in stoping the run. Against good defensive teams with a run game (Philly, San Fran, et all) we will be decimated. Like I have said the storm is coming and against more complete teams with a running game, we are toast.

LVE is one of the most frustrating Cowboys to watch. He will make a great play slicing through the noise to make a TFL. But the next 3 plays he will miss a tackle, shoot the wrong gap or wait for a blocker to come take him out of the play.

He is fine if he can just go forward and hit a hole. Changing directions, having to diagnose & work thru traffic not so much. Does anyone else notice that he seems to jump when a runner is coming into his body rather than plant his feet, sink & meet the runner? He always seems to get driven back.

A linebacker that cannot hit the hole is like a boat without a rudder…..aimless get my drift?
