whats sad with this slop being offered is there are actually good candidates and coaches available...and our inept gm is gonna piss it away so his feelings don't get hurt and he can feel like the smartest guy in the room.
Dosent matter when the front office won't even think of interviewing them. We're forever screwed with Jerry. We need him to die in order to have any shot of success.

This moron is hiring Kellen Moore

He interviewed two Rooney rule candidates and Moore. And……. nobody else. So what’s that tell you?

Moore is the frontrunner, the backrunner, the middlerunner.

I doubt there is really another serious candidate.

Nobody wants that job except an unproven young coach seeking any upwards opportunity despite limited credentials.

The Cowboys have not valued the HC position since Jimmy. Parcells was only hired to get approval for the new stadium. There's a big part of me that believes Jerry wants to win a SB with a mid HC so him, Stephen and the FO gets the majority of the credit. "See, we won a Lombardi with Kellen Moore."

What exactly does he bring? Is Barkley coming with him?

This franchise is a gd joke
Jerry: "oh no, we cant afford Barkley just like we could not afford Henry, you see we got one of them top paid QBs now so the pie is almost all gone now, you see"

I’m already starting not to care about the team This year was the first time in probably 25 years I didn’t buy any merch. I won’t pay for Sunday ticket, and really don’t even watch some of the games. If they hire Moore, then it just reaffirms JJ doesn’t care, so I will care less as well.

John are you an expert on coaches? Give us your choice on who should be the next coach of the Cowboys. I'm sure that you know who it should be. You know all about the NFL. I'm sure you could turn the Cowboys around with your vast knowledge. You should be the GM.
Well Jerry has had 30 years to turn the Cowboys around with his vast knowledge and has failed miserably.

The fact that Dallas is the only team in the NFC to not reach a Title game since dinosaurs roamed the DFW area kinda proves my point.

Maybe we should give John a shot at it, he dam sure cant do any worse than the current guy, you know Rambo.

I'm still waiting for a better name than Moore.

Seriously. Everyone who is hating on Moore needs to say who they would pick instead.
(BJ is off the list now)
You want one name that is better than Moore, I will give you 4 right off the top of my head that are vastly superior and more qualified than Boy Wonder, easy.

Aaron Glenn
Deion Sanders
Robert Saleh
Pete Carroll

Well, he is calling the plays.
2,000 yards of rushing doesn't come without a great OC....

In 2014 D. Murray won the rushing title by rushing for 1800plus yards. Does that make Linehan a great OC?

Everyone knows it wasn't Linehan but Bill Callahan that made that possible.

Kellen knows how Jerry operates. He should know that Dak is on the downside of his career with a cap killing contract, no real FA spending and a meddlesome owner. If he takes the job knowing this, then he isn’t as smart as many think he is. He is setup to fail from the get go.

Yeah, but I think Reverend Deion would be a disaster regardless of nostalgia and his HOF status. Deion was a good coach at Jackson because his assistants, like Mike Zimmer.

I'm just adding to what you're saying and the whole HC talk. I don't believe Deion was truly on the table, other than for media engagement while we're out of the playoffs.
Wait, you just said Deion's success was because of coaches like Mike Zimmer:huh:

Is this the same Mike Zimmer that coordinated a defense that lost like 5 consecutive home games by 20 or more points, a feat not accomplished since the early days of the Houston Oilers?

I tend to think Deion's success was more due to his ability to recruit and motivate, not because freaking Zimmy coordinated this awesome defense nobody in college had ever seen before, but maybe that is just me.

When did we interview him? Eagles haven't had any off weeks.
The Eagles allowed KM to do a 3 hour zoom call with the Cowboys prior to their game against the Rams.

They are actually hoping Dallas hires the Boy Wonder, "you want to interview him the day before our game, well hell yes you can do that no problem at all"

Kinda strange Moore is reaping the benefit from Eagles offense, which is almost entirely predicated on their OLine blasting gigantic craters in opposing defenses. Their oLine is great because they have probably the best oLine coach in history, who just keeps turning every player he gets handed into a probowler. He 3 probowlers this year, and the 1 snub was their left tackle and he ended up making the AllPro Team which is even more prestigious. And the 5th guy probably should been a probowler too.

And then Saquon ripping 3 or 4 fifty yard runs a game.

Moore has NOTHING to do with that.

Hurts has had a horrible year passing, and their all pro WRs are reading books on the benches because the passing game is so bad. That's kellen Moore

So we just run out and are gonna hire this guy? Great move. But....he DOES have that soft passive kind of look about him, that makes you think he might be comfortable degrading himself and being Jerry's little biii, errrr, female dog.
Exactly................and here is the problem with Boy Wonder.

In Dallas, the oline is a joke, this aint Philly. There will be no gigantic craters being opened up for our RBs. Speaking of our backs, we aint got no Barkley, we got the worst RB room in the freaking league. There will be no 50 yard runs several times a game.

So, that means we got to throw the ball, a lot. Considering our $60 million dollar QB is a gimp now and cant run, we are looking at 40+ passes a game? With Dak?

That aint gonna work chief, I telling you right now having Dak play "air raid" ball is not a recipe for success.
