Actually Dak became better than alot of 1st and 2nd rounders, but it still amazes me how Dak is held to higher standards than quarterbacks drafted in higher rounds than he was drafted.

As a matter of fact, isn't he pretty much the best QB in his draft class?? If im wrong, I stand to be corrected, but who from his draft class had better production than Dak?
Because as @TheMarathonContinues pointed out in an earlier post...

After his great rookie season draft position did not matter anymore. So he is now held to a higher standard. I don't recall anyone expecting him to be great when Romo got hurt and he took over. Most thought we were in trouble because we had a 4th rounder taking over, but it worked out that year. So he is expected to improve upon that, and in my opinion, I don't believe he has. I still think 2016 Dak is the best version of Dak that we've seen.

Goff has had more team success
Wentz has had the best season of any QB in the 2016 draft class (3rd in MVP voting in 2017 and would've won if not for injury)
Dak has been the best overall though.

So yeah, I'd say Dak has had the best career so far from the QBs in his draft class. I don't believe it's a HUGE gap, but 6 years in I'd say Dak is leading it pretty easy.

Yet....the Cowboys were 3-0 WITH Romo in 2015...but were 1-12 without him.

So you telling me they missed Murray, Dez was hurt and all this other stuff.....its irrelevant because they were 3-0.

All of this is irrelevant honestly.

The question I asked was if they were SO STACKED why did they only win 1 game when Romo went down.

Then you proceed to give me reasons why they weren't stacked lol. So if you don't feel they were stacked then we aren't disagreeing here. The other poster I was replying to though said the Cowboys were stacked in 2015. They were not. Far from it.

Lol.
The exchange you are referring to started with you trying to suggest that Dak was the difference in the team winning only four games in 2015 and thirteen games in 2016.

You can't even be objective about yourself.

The "Dak took over a four win team and took them to the playoffs" mantra is demonstrably false.

You must have missed the opener against Tampa last season. New England finished second in total defense and New Orleans finished fourth.
I'll give ya Tampa and NE, but Dak was not good against New Orleans last year.

I did not suggest anything. He said Dak took over a stacked team. Everything was in place for him. And I said if it was so stacked why did they only go 4-12?

You're not being objective. You never are when it comes to Dak lol. Don't even attempt to say you are. You are creating points for me I never even made just to show how biased you are lol.

Dak wasn’t great statistically against New Orleans but he was good enough. He still completed 65% of his passes for 238 yards and one TD. New Orleans completely shut down Brady and the Bucs later that season 9-0.

That’s a poll amongst the idiots here poopy. Fans from other teams that come here must get a laugh at all the Dak hate. There’s a lot of teams out there that would love to have him over their QB.
:muttley: LOL......

A back up TE had more passing TDs and yards than Dak that game lol

He also had 4 INTs and a passer rating of 44.2. I’m sure he’s another QB you would rather have over Dak. Lol There’s a lot of scrub QBs that have put up a lot of yards and TDs against our defense. Hill put up almost 400 total yards against our defense rushing and passing. Zeke and Pollard barely out gained him.

Well, Hill is not a real QB, so no, I'll take Dak.

I was just pointing out that the New Orleans game isn't a game that I would consider a "hey look how well Dak played in this one" type of game the way the Tampa and New England was.

LOL.

You really are obtuse. Your story changes from one post to the next. You are literally making my argument for me with the bolded text above.

Have a good weekend kiddo.

Exactly what I thought. Running from the questions again..... you have the weakest credibility on the board, but you're a hell of a track star. Atleast you're admitting the cowardly tendencies by running from and avoiding answering questions and explanations to back up your claims.

Everybody on this board see it for themselves as well. Exposing the weak trolls is so easy around here....:lmao2:
