Got mine, started a franchise and the first thing I did was sign OJ Atogwe since they had him as a FA.

I only played one game though, got a bit bored but looking forward to playing it online with friends.

For some reason when I went to redeem my online code, since they make you put a damn code in now, it kept restarting my PS3 which was a whole lot of fun.

Been playing all day, and I really have to agree with DEZ being a beast. This is with online and franchise play.

When you throw in the WR triplet sets and mix Witten around, you can really create nasty mismatches. Austin destroys it at the slot position, as advertised.

They improved this game so much from previous years.

Is it great? No. Is it great for Madden standards? They hit it out of the ball park for them.


They still need to use natural physics.


Gang tackling is a must. If 1 guy is engaged it cancels out all the other potential tacklers as long as 1 guy is touching him.

Dez is ridiculous in the game. I absolutely love using him. Got the game last night and played my buddy, first play of the game was a quick pass to Dez. I broke through two tackles and scored from 66 yards out!

As far as the game goes, I am not very impressed.

Is the Superstar mode gone?

Can you still create a player?

If so, is it possible to actually get that created player on the Cowboys? I could on 09', but, on 10', I sat there for hours trying to get my player on the Cowboys. Really went through the liquor that night.

Franchise, fantasy style is the only way to go! There's nothing like choosing and building your own dynasty! It can get tricky trying to work the salary cap, though!

Maybe during the first couple of years, the longer you play the more ridiculous the cap is and the easier it is to game.

Played a couple games online last night. All unranked so far. Think i won 3 and lost 1, was a little intoxicated. Fun game, i like the improved sounds and music. Gameflow is ok at times. Gave up a few bombs...looks like that will be an issue ill have to clean up. They fixed a lot of the glitches. I like the running game and the passing game is better.

Yep...it's taking me a l'il time to get used to but the new running dynamic makes cutbacks and the like more effective...

Picked up a copy tonight. Sort of impressed.

I am playing the superstar mode and I am not impressed. Turning off the sim crap, I have no control of when I would like to hike the ball, almost makes audibling out of a play impossible. And you can't go into the depth chart and change your lineup? What kind of crap is that.?

On one offensive series, I had McQuistian at RT, and Barron at LT. Then, on the next drive, Free is in there, some #60 at guard and Holland at LG? Huh?

I don't know, it's cool but, not.

Just got it tonight, played an exhibition then I went straight into ranked, won my first game 42-21. I picked off Chad Henne 4 Times and D-Ware & Scandrick brought it back to the house .

I've played a few games of it and absolutely love it. This being my first Madden in years I'm just now getting to do the settings thing where it adjust the settings from game to game based on your gameplay ability. I LOVE THAT.
