TIP: If you are playing in Franchise mode and Romo gets hurt, put in McGee, do not waste your time with Kitna. He is brutal.

I like this version so far... the graphics seem to have improved a bit over last year, the player animations are a bit smoother. I'm disappointed they changed the way you change DL, LB and DB coverages and the way you call hot routes. I have to learn it all over again.

My only complaint, so far, is that sometimes the computer snaps the ball so fast you don't have time to get control of the player you're wanting to control prior to the snap. That irrates me a little bit but nothing major.

So far everything else has been pretty sweet.

Problem is Dline can't shed blocks. If you could generate a better pass rush it would help.

I can generate a rush, but I never can pull down the QB before he throws a duck into the ground. IT is majorly psssing me off that after 16 games my DB's and DE's have more sacks than Spencer and Ware.

Other than that, pretty cool if you are just into playing online or with friends.

I've loved everything about the game so far when I've played. I haven't had any issues with defenders standing around doing nothing or not being able to get off blocks and get sacks.

I guess you guys play on all madden maybe? I play on either All pro or on the setting where the computer adjusts everything to how well you're doing so it goes up and down and such from game to game. That's fun too.

I just played my first online game and had an epic come from behind victory.

The guy had Tennessee and of course I had Dallas.

He gets up 21-7 on me @ half by running nothing but screens to Chris Johnson.

It is also extremely tough to make open field tackles on this game.


Needless to say Felix Jones and Dez Bryant started taking over the game for me and I came back and won 34-24.

I just played my first exhibition game and I shutout the Commanders. Tnew was Old Spice Player of the Game with pick 6. Dez was a beast for me, as was Jones and Barber. I just found Dez open more than the other receivers. It's a mismatch for sure.

On a side note, there is so much advertising in these games nowadays. There is even an Old Spice "Swagger" player attribute...

Friend and I played and noticed that if you pass to a RB in the front, often the LB will run out in front of him and you can just cut back upfield after the catch cause the LB doesn't even bother to turn around and try to make a play on the runner.

I did a fantasy draft franchise and I have Terrance Cody at NT, dude is a beast in the game. At least on All Pro, I'm sure on All Madden no one can get off blocks.

Yeah, All-Madden is absolutely brutal this year. The last few years I could win most of the time, with about 50% being blowouts, but this year it's ridiculous. The RB's constantly break numerous tackles for TD's and if you don't run the same cheap plays over and over again on the computer you have absolutely no chance against the defense.

Online is great, but I like my All-Madden franchises and this year it's extremely difficult.

Yeah that's the thing about Madden, the higher difficulties don't feel like the game is necessarily harder, it feels like the computer is cheating.

Maybe it's just the way football is, it's not a timing based type of game for the most part so to make it more difficult, players basically have to just become superman.

It'd be like if you turned on the highest difficulty in a basketball game and suddenly the computer is able to dunk from the 3 point line. No one would let that stand, but they just haven't figured out a better way with football.

So yesterday I got Madden 11 and of course I rushed home to play Cowboys and Commanders. I am playing the game and I hear Buehler is set to kick off. I am pretty sure Buehler is pronounced BEE-Ler. If I am correct in my thinking I was wondering......Is Buehler a ticking time bomb? Maddens bus is not going to be able to out run him! I am very concerned. I think I would rather punch D. Ware (in the back of his head when he wasn't looking, while he was tied up with chains, and I have a car waiting for me at the door) than to have Buehler looking to injure me. Anyways, get it right video game maker geek folks! GO COWBOYS!!

PS: I know these rantings have nothing to do with anything....but I'm bored and had to talk about something.

There's a patch coming in September, hopefully it sorts out defensive awareness and tackling cause these issues are really game breakers for me, but if not for these 2 things the game would actually be quite good.
There's only so many times it's fun to see someone complete a pass against double and tripple coverage cause your DBs do nothing but stand there and watch the WR catch. If it doesn't get fixed this will probably be the first time i trade inn a Madden game

It's glitching like crazy for me and has lead to many missed extra points and field goals and I've shanked a few punts and duffed a few kickoffs out of bounds. It's driving me crazy, and it's not my connection. The rest of the game is so smooth.

Yeah, the lag is unpredictable but I've played games where there was none and kicking was normal.
