Automatic Aubrey would like a word. Dak hung 6 on the Browns.

Facts matter.
Hmmm... so the QB ONLY gets credit for TD passes? So since Purdy had ZERO TD passes in his game against the Jets he gets no credit for the 49ers 32 points right? This could be fun.. Since Dak led the NFL in TD passes last season that makes him the best in the league right? He should get more "credit" than all other QBs.

You said “Dak hung” … Dak is the QB. He hung 6. Aubrey hung 15. Dak didn’t kick the ball did he? No.

The rest is word salad. We are talking about Sunday, last season is not part of the discussion.

Dak sucking contributed to the need for Aubrey to hang 15. Dak had his chances to hang more but he couldn’t complete passes, on short fields no less … sooooo Aubrey did what Dak couldn’t. Scored. 15.

Don’t over complicate it,

He hung 33 like Justin Fields hung 18 last week, lol ( 6 field goals)

Dude Dak just hung 26 points on the #1 defense in the league last season with the two time defensive player of the year going up against a rookie at LT. Most impressively the Cowboys offense scored 13 more points than the Browns gave up on average at home last season. They only gave up more than 20 points at home twice and they whupped the 49ers on that same field while holding them to 17. There aint gonna be no bigger test than the Browns in the Dawg Pound. I know people don't wanna see it or acknowledge it yet.. but they will as the season goes on.
It was a good win on the road against that defense.

No question.

But let’s be honest, Watson was awful. The Cowboys didn’t have to score many points to beat that team. Dak will have to go toe to toe with Jackson.

Cowboys win that one and it just may set precedence against the NFL’s best going forward.

It’s long overdue for this team and its fans.

Agree...... based on last seasons Browns defense ( which is all we have to go by)

I'll be watching the Browns defense against other teams to see if they still have that mojo which will be just one more peice of criteria to evaluate our offense.

But yes. Deshaun Watson played exactly like he did last year, lol

So let's stick with this rule all season. QB only gets credit for scores if he throws a TD pass. Any other points scored by the offense must be attributed to someone else. At the end of the season the QB who throws the most TD passes will get the most "credit." I'm writing this down.

That Browns defense would have had Cooper Rush for lunch. The Cowboys still might have won the game but remember.. the Cowboys scored 14 ppg LESS with Rush at QB than they do with Dak. How different are we talking about that game if it's 19-17 instead of 33-17? How different does Cleveland play it once they realize the Cowboys aren't going to score either?
It's a fair point....I'm just saying....both dak and coop need their defense. You can't berate one for need and not the other.

It's a bit of gray area there....don't you think?
I'd have to give romo credit for that epic giants (I think) win where he drove the team down the field with 15 seconds and a cluster f.
Yes....it was a field goal....but not at all possible without romos expertise.

Lobbing 66 yarders? Not so much.

Every QB needs the defense.. I am all about the team game.. I am merely stating that in that first half Dak made some plays that I don't think Rush makes so I think it's reasonable to assume that with Rush in the game maybe the halftime score is 10-3 not 20-3? That makes it a very different ballgame for Cleveland in the second half. They would have been able to continue to test our run defense and not put it all on Watson who was clearly rattled. Your offense being more potent changes what the opponent can/will do on the other side. Nothing happens in a vacuum. It's why we love football. Of course I was being simplistic when I said "Dak just hung.." We know it was the entire offense that did it. Just as we know it was the entire defense that neutered the Browns not just Eric Kendricks.. even though it really looked that way at times!!

Again … you said Dak hung. So that works. If you meant team then say team hung . But we all know what’s up amd why you tried to steal Aubrey’s points for Dak. Just remember to account for all the points Dak U
unhangs, those matter too.

Things would be great if the numbers were flip flopped and Dak hung 15 and Aubrey 6 … we prob wouldn’t even be talking and you wouldn’t have to puff up Dak’s points hung.

That's fine...and that is what I said about Dak's green bay game. without the 2 ints it's what? 13-10? A VERY different game! (prooving your point on how the QB plays effects the game BIGTIME!)

Anyways....It was nice to see a Good game from both offense and defense. Defense certainly outstanding...my eye test says a VERY different philosophy!

Quarterbacks are usually made either the star or villain of any game performance. Meanwhile, their teammates are almost always slighted for what they contributed, good or bad, in every win and loss.

Never forget that you made entire threads hating on Cooper Rush for having games just like the ones you’re praising Dak for having.
