Yeah what's your point, MBIII had zero starts last year in the regular season.

Except Barber wasn't the starter last year. Newman has been unable to play of played a limited role in over a third of the games. I am not saying to cut the guy, or that he is a has-been, I am just saying he gets hurt too much and it has impacted our defense.

how can the biggest gripe be the secondary, when mcnabb had all day to throw?

it doesn't matter if you're playing man or zone, some guy is going to get open. and with zone you still see what's happening in front of you and since the eagle's best weapons are westbrook and mcnabb you have to play zone.

the problem remains the dline. teams have consistently showed the secondary is not that important. see the patriots and giants.
