Can someone show me where this is factual and not just some made up garbage please. If that is the case then i too have a problem with it but somehow I think its just cowboy zone speculation.

When it comes to facts people who hate Dak don’t really see things in a fair manner. Just like they all believe that Dak wants 40 million. But no one knows for sure, Dak certainly hasn’t claimed anything of this sort. None of the people involved in the actual negotiations have stated anything like this or what was the sticking point in why a deal could not be done?

That actually is a sensible argument.

Consider the knucklehead thinking of Zeke "I don't want to get hurt til I get paid" Elliott. Now, he's Zeke "I can't afford to get hurt" Elliott.

That's what leading your locker room. Stars who have no care for a shiny trophy as long as they got the comfort of the dollar bills Jerry's throws.

It called "Not being hungry!"
We're fat, complacent, cozy.

Look at Dak. Any competition to make him improve? Cooper what? Who? 1 for 3 2 yards in 3 years? This is a backup? No he's third string. Dak is the backup.

He was projected to be a backup. A Brett Hundley type. Hundley spent 2 years with Green Bay, 1 in Seattle, and 2019 in Arizona. Unfortunately Jerry fell in love with Dak and declared him the QB with no competition. Jerry is not going to be wrong if it costs him $160 in the next four years. Jerry is never wrong.

And its not all Dak's fault. For the last ten years, before Dak, they've been told "just keep doing good things day to day and you will get better." Most often at the end of the year, they are the same 8-8, 9-7, out of the playoffs, team they were the prior years.

But they are doing what's ask! And they are guaranteed Jerry will pay big for their mediocrity.

What reason do they have to bust butt like Carson Wentz, Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson?

The Titans are a hungry team.
The Cowboys are fat, flabby, overfed, and lazy.

Prove me wrong.

Waiting Mahomes and now Russell Wilson just really opened my eyes. These guys are on another world compared to Dak. Kind of depressing
You watched mahomes get gifted 2 short fields on back to back possessions that he had nothing to do with. Dak had 1 short field ALL SEASON!!!!

Dak struggled in short field situations, so there is absolutely nothing that tells us he would have done better just because a turnover got them there. Red zone was a problem all season (and not the only season for Dak)

So, narrative is garbage.

Natural passers, Pure passers. Same thing. They have never won with their arms alone. Name one who won a Ring while having a sorry defense, a porous offensive line, bad coaching and no running game. I’ll wait for that answer. It’ll take you a while
No, they are most certainly not the same thing. Nothing for me to answer. I never said those things. This is a thread about Dak's skill compared to other QB's which is what my comments were about.

Lol ok. He had 1 short field situation had did you get all that data? Redzone %. By time we get in the redzone its 10 plays in and all it takes is 1 penalty to screw the drive up. big difference going 40 yards to get into the endzone than 75 yards that's a fact. Romo is never coming back

The guy defending Prescott actually stated this and says he is okay with it

I am merely playing devil's advocate with his argument, but he is confident that Prescott intentionally ran less this year because he didn't have a deal in place and furthermore he is okay with it
A guy in this forum defending Dak ? Ok thank you enough said

There are few elite QB's and Dak is just not one of them. That doesn't mean he's trash but he will fail like most average QB's without a ton of support.

The problem is that the same people wanting him to get 35 million a year will be the same guys complaining that Dallas doesn't have all the things he needs to be successful.

Dak played on a really good team this year and the only real excuse is the poor coaching we had.

Sir what the hell are you talking about? You said its a team game or something to that effect because people put to much blame on Dak allegedly. I then asked why haven't I saw you in the pro Dak threads saying this same bs. You can't then ask me to show you proof of something I already said doesn't exist. Please keep up sir. This isn't looking to good for you right now sir so when you respond please have your logic in order please. It will make this disagreement go that much more smoothly.
I have always said that. Show me proof I said something different. Show me anywhere I said Dak wins alone.

At the QB position? Let's see...

The Cowboys have started 21 different QBs since their last NFCCG appearance.
The highest pick they've spent on a QB during that time was for Quincy Carter.
The last time they tried to trade back into the first round for a QB was for Paxton Lynch.
Jerry had to be talked out of taking Johnny Football in the first round. He wanted to do it.
They lucked into Tony Romo. They settled for Dak when they missed out on Lynch (and Connor Cook).

I think it's fair to question their talent evaluation skills when it comes to the QB position.
I’d trust their judgment over yours. Any day

...red zone is a short field situation. Are you being obtuse on purpose? It doesn't matter if you get there due to a turnover or because you drove the field. Short field is a short field, and our red zone offense was bad at getting into the end zone consistently from there.

So again, there is absolutely nothing that states he would have done better in that situation because a turnover got them there instead.

I didn’t think you could answer that because it’s impossible. It has never happened

It's different. Momentum swing and having less plays to screw up.

AGAIN, there is nothing at all to suggest other than your "well maybe" to say we would have done better in that situation if the short field came off a turnover. Nothing.

I have data that we don't do well on that side of the field, you have a "what if".

You're comparing Dak to what will probably end up being the best QB to ever play the game if he stays healthy....EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE looks limited compared to him right now.
