that's just wrong.
I'd rather have a hole drilled in my head and battery acid poured in than to be subjected to rap music. :laugh2:
Hey, it's just my preference....to each his own. :shoot4:

THEHEREAFTER;1675893 said:The point is... why are we talking about their musical preferences REGARDLESS of the type of music they listen to and have fun with before PRACTICE and in the LOCKER ROOM. This thread has a disturbing direction to it.
THEHEREAFTER;1675859 said:Regardless to what type of music you listen to.... Rap, Metal, Country... these are mostly kids who have personalities interests and lives.... All players have interests off the field... Why are you singling out rap music? Get a clue man...

Oh wait, I know.....singing about taking drugs all the time and how you are so depressed, that you have to dress in black and hop around and bump into strangers because you are so high you can't stand up strait.
No, well maybe it is growing your hair long and making a lot of noise with a guitar and sticking your tounge out and yelling into the microphone while your buddy is banging on random drums.
So please, I am curious what is real music

Sure, when it comes time for contract negotiations and such we know where they turn, but they aren't willing to let go of the thug and gangster culture. This kind of music shouldn't be allowed in NFL facilities period. The fact that is it suggests a lack of moral responsibility.
It's all about what you prefer. And what feeds the soul is a combination of the lyrics and the music. I don't like all rap music, but some is good and the good stuff speaks to me pretty much the same way as any of the "standard" or traditional music.HogsRLegends;1675920 said:Its music with heart and soul. Just FYI, not all rap music is gangsta. And if you listen to more than one genre of music, you'll see that many times the lyrics are the same, just delivered in a different manner. It should be the job of the intellegensia of the league to give some kind of culture to these wanna be gangstas.
The only thing Marcus is guilty of in that piece is that he sucks at freestyling. Thats a very slippery slope and down right ignorant, maybe even offensive to label him or anyone that enjoys rap as thug.PakiPride;1675533 said:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_5rSKJ9I5Q
A very interesting video indeed.
This team has one too many thugs it seems as Parcells has left.
You obviously don't listen to rap enough to know that it's not all about the glorification of a thug and gangster culture.HogsRLegends;1675924 said:Its not right for these guys to be wanting their cake and eating it as well. Not saying it's right...it just is.
