I don't know about his attitude, but I am willing to give him a pass for last year. Traditional, big 4-3 ends do not do well as OLB's a 3-4 scheme. I can imagine that is very frustrating. I do agree that locker room chemistry and win-first attitude is very important so the coaches will have to decide if his attitude will fit in locker room.
But, there is no doubt that he was very productive the three years before when Buffalo ran a traditional 4-3. His sack totals in a 4-3 were 10.5, 13.0. and 14.5. That's pretty damn good.
I know the PFF system is pretty crappy, but this PFF article has some very interesting stats about how Williams and the Bills other DE, Hughes, were able to get a lot of pressure on opposing QB's without a lot of blitzing (sound familiar?) I think DLaw has the ability to be every bit as good or better than Jerry Hughes, so this article is pretty darn intriguing. I think just dismissing Williams without really looking into it a huge mistake.

Williams, DLaw, a healthy Crawford, and the best rookie 1-tech we can get, backed by Gregory, Crawford, and Irving, may just give us the pass rush we need.
After the Super Bowl, I think DE is a position that Jerry is going to be more than willing to open the check book for.
