Marty B..." I wanted to hit favre in the mouth"

Brooking comes in here one year and already showing to be the spiritual leader of this team. Love the guy.
I loved what Brooking did there. Even when the game was out of hand he stood up for his team. I don't get why Aikman was criticizing him for that. I like to see fire like that from our players. Brooking probably told them we would not forget that for next season.

Yawn. This argument will never be "won".

I personally think it's classless, in the mold of coach cheater up in NE, to run up the score when the game is already over.

Then there are others who say you should have stopped them on the field blah blah blah...

I know I'm right. :p

Its not the Vikings job to stop themselves.

Its our defense's.

If they had scored on a run they I wouldn't be pissed but that last TD was a rub in. Stop them crap is that.. crap. Stay classy Minnesota. PUnks. HOpe the Saints run your ***** out of town.

This is getting more embarrassing by the minute. Is this honestly what we're reduced to? Whining about late scores after the game had already been decided?

Marty, I have a suggestion. Simply congratulate the Vikings on a game well played, and use whatever negative sentiment you garnered from the last score as motivation for next season...in private.

Quit whining...I"m with Jimmy on this one. Maybe you're rewarding the TE for owning DWare all game long by blocking instead of being the big time target he's been all year...maybe you're doing what you think you need to do regarding next week.

Bottom line, it's the defense's job to stop them and not their responsibility if you half-*** it thinking they won't throw the ball.

Defense played well for most of the game...don't whine when it's over.

This, quit whining or do something about it, they didn't so this is what they get.

Spoils of winning the war

The only thing that's "embarrasing" is that so many of my fellow cz'ers seem to have no knowledge of (or interest in) the concept of sportsmanship.

i liked what Aikman said "you don't like it? do something about it" -- don't ***** if your D isn't playing hard and you get scored on.
:hammer:

I can't believe you guys. We were still using all our timeouts and going for it on 4th down on our own 20 yard line. So they're supposed to run the ball three times and punt it back to us to do it again?

Brad is a punk, no doubt, I hate the guy. He hates us with every fiber of his being. But there's nothing wrong with what he did. And why the hate for Favre? He didn't call the play.

If we didn't like it, we should have stopped them.

Personally I dont care if teams run up the score, but I do think it shows a lack of class. Play action on 4th down in that situation? It was it is, not worth getting upset about it but it I am glad our coaching staff doesnt do that.

Well in the PC, Favre brought up the seven field goal game that broke the record.

Screw Brett.

It was classless.
There was no need for it. 4th down and they're throwing at that point in the game? THAT was a situation where I would have no problem with a player just leveling Favre after he threw it.
There was simply no need for that play. Period.

I don't get it??

That's statement is beyond stupid. It's a cheap TD, because no one is expecting that play. And no one is expecting that play because it's completely unnecessary is the result of a complete lack of class.

Not to mention that it goes against the unspoken code of how you play a game in the NFL in that situation.

This is something I expect in a Madden game playing against a kid. Not from an NFL franchise.

He didn't bring that up did he? There are no players on that team that played today. I hope he didn't bring that nonsense up. That makes him sound pretty bad.

He was likely getting one back for Andy Reid.

Wade was classy and called off the dogs in both Eagles games. We didn't rub it in the face of Andy Reid.

Childress was classless. There was nothing to get back for anyone.

And I had no problem with doing that when we did that.... its not our job to stop our offense in that situation, either.
