Sorry but it's not 3-1.

If the Mavs bench alone plays up to their ability this series could change real quick.

yea but where does the scoring come from

Doirk

Maimi

Wade - Le Bron - Bosch

Look at our bench points all playoffs long.

Miami did something last night that they should never do and that's have their bench outscore ours.. Bigtime..,

The importance of bench production is diminished in the playoffs. Rotations are tightened and stars minutes are increased.

For as well as the Mavs pass the ball they should still get the same amount of open looks. I dont think that will go away.

That may be true for other teams but not Dallas.

Sooner or later you guys will realize that Dallas is outmatched in this series..This is Batman versus Superman, Spiderman, and Iron man. It's a shame for Dirk more than anything but that's the situation he is in..The bad news is that the way the NBA is structured, the Miami Heat will only get better next year..Unless of course things change under a new CBA.

There's no way that Bosh rates as high as an Iron Man. Maybe someone lame like AquaMan or overrated like Gambit.

I'll go with Wade = Spiderman on a superhero level, but giving James Superman seems a bit overblown. I guess on a hype level it fits but he still has a lot to prove. I'd actually put Dirk more in the Superman role with his supporting cast as the relatively lame SuperFriends.

Maybe Miami as a "Fantastic Three" and Dirk and the Mavs as the SuperFriends (Jason Terry has to be one of the Wonder Twins).

There is no Superman in this series. He announced his retirement yesterday and there is nobody who can come off the bench to fill in. Superman has left the building.

That's what I thought too but the mavs play regular season rotations, it's actually very effective for them

as for the super hero analogies, batman can take down superman, spiderman, and iron man, he is smarter than all but maybe iron man (he has defeated superman before), iron man would be easy for him. Spiderman might be an issue, but he would figure something out I think. Hopefully dirk will too

There is no denying LeBron James' talent level. If you are still trying to argue whether LeBron is the best player in the league at this point, you're just a flat-out hater.

And this comes from someone that didn't particularly like LeBron at all for the first 7 years of his career. I've kind of come around, though, after watching him completely dominate on offense and on defense against Boston, Chicago, and now in Game 1 against the Mavericks.

He does it all - rebounding, defense, scoring. He is a complete player. And now his 3-pointer is starting to become somewhat lethal?

It could get very, very ugly for the rest of the Eastern Conference and the rest of the NBA if this is LeBron entering his prime.

Series will be tied after tonight fellas!
Go Mavs

enough talk about Dirk's finger, I've seen Kobe with fingers taped together on his shooting hand go for 40.

they call traveling on Lebron and then let him basically take 4 steps shuffling his feet for a 3 pointer.

Dallas should be up double digits, not a good sign for the Mavs.

nice job by that ref, there was no foul on Wade's shot. Where are all the Mavs' fans?

Ron Artest just tweeted that if the mavs win the series 4-1, he would run down Santa Monica blvd with nipple electrical shockers on...two words to that.....

GO MAVS!

the Mavs might as well have all just went and sat on the bench the last 4 minutes. that was pathetic

Mavs really have no chance. Miami D is strong, Miami O is off the charts. Mavs did very well, much better than ever expected, to get this far, but it's just not fair right now. No team in history would have a chance to win a series against this Heat team. (except maybe Showtime Lakers...)

Seriously?

The '00-'03 Lakers and Jordan Bulls would easily beat this bunch. I'm sure a couple of those Spurs teams over the last decade would beat them as well.
