I love Dirk, but I want the Heat to win just so all the people pissed at Lebron for leaving Cleveland for Miami will skyrocket to never before seen levels of butthurt. :laugh2:

Move to time 1:55 on this video. Foul all day. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qb8S50fndPs

Who locks up Dirk? I'm thinking Bosh, Haslem, and James have to take turns. That way you don't risk foul trouble for Bosh.

I'm picking the Heatles in 5. The Mavs are about to experience a D that they haven't even come close to facing in the west. They are tenacious all the way to the 3 pt line. Scoring for Miami's players as a whole should be easier than what they just went through with these Bulls. Oh and a King will be present in a #6 Heat jersey :worthy2:.

At the same time, the Heat are about to experience an offense that they haven't even come close to facing in the East. The ball movement, different lineups, bench players, big man, and more is something that will be a challenge for the Heat. Still I pick the Heat in 6. I PRAY that I'm wrong. My heart says Mavs but my head says Heat. I wish Dallas had Caron. It would be an easier pick for me.

Of the teams that the Heat have faced, I guess Boston may be closer than any as far as array of weapons, etc.

Certainly the two teams that made it had to go through some tough teams.

Dallas' path of Portland, Los Angeles, and OKC was fairly daunting.
Miami went through Philly(weak), Boston, and Chicago...not bad at all.

Stackhouse is a really great guy. He he had been a Spur, you would have loved him.

Dumb comment though, if he really said Go Skins..even if he did grow up a Skins fan. He went to HS in Virginia, so I assume he was.

Of course, he was on the downside of his career when he was with the Mavs.

ya im pretty sure it was him, and im sure he is a great guy, i like him on NBA tv, just while he was a mav i despised him. i know jason terry is a great dude too, he is involved in the community a lot, i dont hate them personally, just between the lines.

im about to go on a tangent, but....

bruce bowen is hated by a lot of people, but he is involved in the community a lot. but the funniest thing he does? he has a charity to get kids fit!! its funny, because if you have ever been to san antonio, you know there are a LOT of overweight people there! lol (even more of a tangent, cant blame them, the food in SA is A-MA-ZING!)

id say the heat have a really good defense, but they havent played a team nearly as good offensively as the mavs. the sixers averaged 95 ppg, the celtics 96, and the bulls 98(they loved to beat up crappy teams)

the mavs averaged over 100 in a much more competitive conference. And While its true that defense wins championships and the Heat have a very good one, its not like the mavs have the 05 Suns defense

Mavs win in 6.

Everyone is picking the Heat to win. Im surprised considering Dallas has already beat better teams to get there.

Oh well.

Mavs bench will help us prevail.

The only way we can lose this series is if Stern puts the call in like he did in 06.

not one post later and someone says something stupid, im already starting to switch sides

Don't even regard Dallas Cowboys Fan hate on the Spurs. He is a Lakers fan. Don't let that represent the realistic Mavs fans on this board. Anyways, I have been watching all the games for the Eastern Conference Finals over the last two weeks and I feel like the Heat in 5 or Heat in 6 is off pure hype. We are talking about a team (Dallas) who has only lost 3 out of 15 games in this years playoffs. Everyone took the cliche pick of Portland over Dallas, then there was no way Dallas would stop the Lakers, and some posed that OKC's athleticism was far too great for the Mavs old legs to overcome. Time to prove the Heat wrong. GO MAVS!

The funny thing is Dallas has lost 3 playoff games and now we're going to lose 4 out of 7? Whaa?

Both Miami and Dallas are 12-3 in the playoffs. They have advantages over the other in many different ways. I think this sets up for a 6 or 7 game classic.

How many do you think the heat lost?

I'm not pissed that he left. Hell I would have gotten the hell out of Cleveland too! It was the classless way he did it. THAT is why I hate him. Then I hate Wade for being a drama queen in the way he would fake an injury as if it was so severe that he might be out for months, only to come back in 10 minutes and play as if he wasn't injured at all. (pretending he was superman or something) As for Bosh, I was always a fan of his, but now he is tainted for playing with those two imbeciles.

I don't know about Stackhouse, but Darrell Armstrong was fined for saying "How bout them Commanders"
