Been a great series with the expected happening.

Wade has Locker room return? Check
Dirk ignores any successes? Check
LeBron and Wade overcelebrate? Check

Miami already had their championship party the day LeBron signed. This just doesn't mean as much to them as it does to Dallas who has a bunch of guys who feel this is their one shot at a title.

Never easy to win a close-out on the opponent's home court but Dallas has had such a powerful advantage down the stretch they probably are the favorites now.

If the game is close with 4 mins left in either game give me Dallas.

I really think it is in Miami's head at this point. They have been completely and totally incapable of guarding Dirk down the stretch and now Terry is hitting everything he throws up. It's like they believe they have to match Dallas but don't know how and so they just start jacking up threes.

I agree for sure.

Miami is a very talented team but they really just don't execute.

It is Wade vs. 5 at times on offense. And this Dallas team will run actual offensive plays with a high level of success. They have a tough inside player next to Dirk with Chandler and force you to guard out to the 3 point line because they stack shooters. Dirk at the top of the key is an insane cover because he shoots an insane 93% from the free throw line and has the length to make jump shot defense mostly useless. Letting him to that area single-guarded is just good night.

The depth of Dallas has played a big role all through the playoffs. They're strong at all spots and totally dominate at one. It's pretty amazing that they have done what they've done so far without probably their second best player.

The fat lady definitely has not sung yet though.

BTW, the rumblings amoung some of my Mavs buds is that if it goes to a game 7, we are going to Miami. I wonder if I'll need body armour.

DWade & LeBron acting like immature 12 year olds mocking Dirk! :laugh2: And their fans are buying voodoo dolls to try to hex the Mavs!

I hope the Mavs can pull off one more win and bring the trophy to DALLAS! Go MAVS!!!

Also, I can't wait to watch the postgame celebration if/when Dallas pulls this off. Cuban has kept his hatred of the Heat bottled up for 5 long years, I really want to see him take that mic and just go crazy :laugh2:

Am I one of the few that actually like Cuban? I don't have a specific team, but I follow NBA here and there. Not jumping on the bandwagon but do want the Mavs to win. I usually just root for the Texas teams, and anybody playing the Lakers.

I'm with you. Sure he puts his foot in his mouth sometimes, but I like that he's not scared to say anything. Most of all, I like that he's dedicated to spend to put a winner on the floor. He's brought the Mavs out of the dregs of the league because of that.

Not this again, but Cuban didn't bring them out of the dregs -- Don Nelson did.

And I kind of get why people are giving Lebron such a hard time, but IMO Wade deserves it more. Sitting out half the game because of a bruise? And then playing like nothing was wrong with him? I can't use the proper term for him on a family-friendly board.

During the pregame intro in game 6 Dirk should come out with a fake limp and holding his lower back :laugh2:

No kidding...the irony of watching Wade grimace and grab his hip every time something bad happens on the court is hilarious. He certainly had no problem walking briskly off-court after he got his *** whipped last night.

I didn't have too much invested into this series other than my nephews are huge Mavs fans, but watching last night's game, and the video of those two idiots pre-game gives me all of the incentive I need to dislike them. I'm sure I'm not alone.

I mean they can't stop him, so they might as well act like little girls to try and make themselves feel better about getting dominated by Dirk every night.

Don't worry though guys, there's be plenty of time for more laughter after your left without a championship. Big three my arse. How bout we have another rock star show after you lose the finals?

:laugh2:

I hope Dirk drops like 60 points on them in a game 6 blowout victory.

I don't dislike Cuban--especially not the one that has grown up a lot over the last 5 seasons.
Few owners would do as much as he would to win. He is both a players' owner and a fan's owner. He has an unmatched passion for his team and fan-base.
Having said that, I can understand why some don't like him based on some of his antics in the past.

I'm in the camp that he played a big role in Dallas getting hosed in 2006. Whether or not the mavs would have won that series or not, I'm sure the refs had an anti-Cuban bias that effected the a huge number of calls. He had shwon the soptlight on the roaches VERY untactfully and they did not appreciate it.

Nevertheless, I think he has become an outstanding owner.

It looks as if Lebron didn't even want to mock Dirk but did it anyway with his friend.

I took it that way too! DWade started his mocking and looked to LeBron to join in. Then, they made fun of some camera crew guy falling or something. :laugh2:

GO MAVS!!!

I didn't say single-handedly. But Cuban sure played his part. Nelson couldn't have done it without Cuban, IMO. We saw that in Golden State. He had one good season there but not much else.
