Mavs/Heat Finals thread

J.A. Adande, ESPN.com: Wade has extra time to heal. One of the big stories of the Finals is the Heat's inability to wrap up two games they had in hand.

come use your head
I think the Mavs think they could have won at least one more game.

I'm sure OKC thought they should have won a couple of games that they dropped too. I'm sure the Utah Jazz thought they should have beaten the Bulls way back when...etc, etc, etc.

All close games in all sports come down to a few plays here or there....this is not news or anything enlightening.

These are two evenly matched teams and the fact that this is one of the closest Finals in NBA history (so far) should not be surprising.

This is a pretty ridiculous statement, just because you don't agree with the journalist or he doesn't share your views on something doesn't make him an idiot, you could argue that all the wins by both teams were blown by the other team since there haven't been any clear, blowout games.

Bottom line is neither team has played to their full potential and both could have won any of the games so far, no exceptions

It isnt that statement that makes him an idiot, I'm saying I put no stock in that statement because his past actions have led me to believe he is an idiot. He just says things for the purpose of headlines.

Can't say that I agree with you on that one. It's not like he is Stephen A. Smith

Does anyone here really think Dallas is going to win tonight? I don't think there's any way Dallas win...this series is going 7 and game 7 will be a classic.

Depends on whether DWade is being honest about his injuries and that he's fully recovered tonight.

Yes, Dallas wins tonight.

Miami can't close out games. And 4th quarter basketball is what matters in the NBA.

The Heat have no half court offense other than d(bag)wade versus 5.
The Heat will be a better team after they add a PG and a center. Hard to win with holes at those positions no matter the rest of the club.

IMO the series should be over Maimi blew two games

same as the Mavs did in 06

so we shall see

who will show up Sun an Tues night

plus the heat need a good big man

It should be over because Dallas should have won game 3 as well. Dirk hasn't missed that top of the key shot all series in the 4th quarter.
Miami is "blowing" every 4th quarter. They'll blow another one tonight and can prematurely celebrate the 2012 championship after they sign a PG and C.

It would also help if LeBron was actually good. Getting outplayed every game by Marion doesn't bode well.

As much as I love Game 7's, I really want the Mavericks to win tonight. All of the years they were good, were the favorites, had the best record in the NBA and choked can be put to rest if they can win this thing. For you Mav's fans out there, I hope your dream comes true tonight.

I picked Miami and I'm sticking to that. Hopefully I jinxed myself and Dallas wins tonight. ;)

I would contest this - but don't really care - this is just stupid

Going down with the ship, admirable.

Terry coming up huge again. The Mavs have to have him do just that.
