Jameis Winston had over 5,000 yards passing....I guess he carried the team like Dak did...except Dak led Dallas to an 8-8 record whereas Winston only led TB to a 7-9 record....

Jameis Winston had over 30 INTs the year he passed over 5000 yards. He was released after that season. The discussion I’m having is about Dak ability to read defenses. Either stay with that or I’m moving on.

You didn;t mention INT's you referenced yards passing so stick to the subject.

I see, so because I do not shake the pom poms for Dak then I should stay out of conversations? Damn man go wear your blue in many aspects proudly.
You said it was an insult to Hurts..... Has nothing to do with waving poms poms.

Again, if you don't have a clue about the topic being said just don't say anything bro. Plenty of other topics you can bash Dak about instead of making a comment about a QB that you clearly know little to nothing about.

It's really simple but come on and give a good come back instead of admitting you were wrong

Dak is literally Kirk Cousins. Both are 98 passer ratings for their careers. Both complete 68% of their passes for their careers. Both suck in big games against good teams.
What's your thoughts on Justin Herbert?

He is 1-7 against winning teams and has never made the playoffs. Can't recall Cousins doing anything in the playoffs either

Dak has a win in the playoffs though and other than the 49ers playoff game, has had really good play in the playoffs

You’re obviously not following along because I mentioned INTs to another poster when referring to Daks ability to read defenses. Erod made a comment about his inability to read defenses and I’m disputing it so you need to stick to the subject. This is the comment I responded to. If you’re just looking to fight about Dak find someone else.

It's not his confidence. It's his inability to read the defense.

In other words, it's his ignorance.

Dak Prescott Is Grateful for the Cowboys Team Around Him
The QB has a new lease on life after watching his team battle without him for five weeks, and he opens up about what it was like getting back on the field in Week 7.

That set up the rest of a first half through which Prescott, and the guys around him, were testing their boundaries and Prescott himself was testing the thumb.

“There were the two throws that I made early that, not necessarily I want back because they didn’t turn out bad, but yeah, that was my confidence and that’s what I’ve got to guard against,” he said. “It’s understanding that I do have this team, and I don’t have to try to force these balls, whether it be third down or whether it be a tight window. I have to continue to play the game, check it down, put us in field position and trust our defense to get it to back to us.

You make the wrong analysis AGAIN!!

Its not that he is getting it, its that this team finally has a great defense so he doesnt have to do it all. And the run game is working.

Dak could not play check down charley and go 12-5 last year or the years prior.

Saying a guy that's been in the league for just over 6 years is the 7th best of all time is kind of BS as who is he being compared to? And what metric are you using to rank him 7th?

If it's passer rating, did you mention Deshaun Watson is ranked 2nd? Jimmy G. is 6th....Kirk Cousins is 8th....Lamar Jackson is 10th...Romo is 11th.....

So do you see how that claim, when you had context, sounds stupid?

Saying Dak is 7th best all time is just absolutely laughable stupidity. We finally agree on something.

Like Romo, who threw lots of INTs and fumbled plenty on sacks, Dallas never had a decent defense, so both QBs had to take chances and throw into coverage to have any chance of winning. It has literally been decades of knowing when the other team got the ball last, our defense would lose the game.
I think Rush showed that you don't have to take chances, in most cases, to win with this team. Dak showed that too, against the Lions, by scoring once he stopped taking as many chances.

The summary was in the title in bold and you still missed the point.

That may work most of the time against bad to good teams. But thats not working against the best in the NFL. Eagles game was an example of that.

Whether its a comeback or keeping up with a top team in scoring, we will need to be more aggressive at some point. And it wouldnt hurt to get a lead on some teams.

Go check the playoff games and watch how Dak is usually absent for most of the game before compiling stats late....that's his MO.

Yet Jimmy G. has more playoff games and wins than Dak and beat Dak in the playoffs last season.....and last I checked Dak has missed an entire season so far so not sure where you are going.

The point is you made sure to point out they've played 8 and 9 seasons with less int's, when Dak has played more games. You tried to highlight it as if it had any merit but it doesn't. Simple stuff.

There's a reason you didn't include Goff.

I think we need to rely heavily on the run...throw in some rollouts to the right....a few check downs, and just keep the ball driving down the field. Have Dak keep it even now and then. Try to give Dak some plays to get the ball out quicker. Not sure if Kellen has some designs of this for him.
2016 Dak……although without 2016 Zeke.

They just need to run the ball well somehow is all I know….or it’s not going to work out in the end.
