I think Mayfield still has a chance in the league. If he can figure it out he has a higher ceiling than Dak.

Getting him at backup money would be a gift from the football gods... but that ain't happening so I'm looking forward to seeing him play for whoever he ends up with.

the rest of his career is going to be a team in desparate need of a QB, he will be a stop gap as the team looks for their future QB and he will bounce from team to team for several years and eventually be relegated to a high priced back up QB role, which would be perfect for him.

A QB who averages about 3500 yards and 24 TDs per season, has a losing record and throws his teammates under the bus when things aren’t going well is just what we need to enlighten this frustrated fan base. If the Cowboys want to upgrade at QB they should bring in a QB that has a strong chance to actually be an upgrade, and a notable one at that. I don't think Mayfield represents even a so/so chance of being an upgrade at all, and no chance of being a significant upgrade.

I wouldn’t! As much as I would hate Mayfield as a starter he would be an okay backup. RG3 hasn’t started a game in two years and was terrible. He sucks! He lost his mojo years ago.
