I don't know if I fully believe the rumors about Mayfield being generally a bad teammate and difficult to be around or work with, I say that because of the spin put on Cooper's ousting which seemed very manufactured. But if those rumors are true I wouldn't want anything to do with him, there are enough problems already as is with the Cowboys.

This, Dak might not be amazing but he is a leader and team mate love the guy

Mayfield, judging by mechanics, might be a hair better than than Dak, albeit the bar being low.
However, Dak is the king of maturity compared to flighty Mayfield.

Some things confuse and miff me about the lad Mayfield

*Mayfield's bizarre social activism on behalf of death row murderer Julius Jones who was ultimately granted clemency last November to spend life in prison. (Mayfield teared up talking about the killer.)
Blokes, it is always good to defend the accused/vulnerable. But it always bothered me why Mayfield took time from his duties as a Brown to plead for a stranger's life.
It juat smacked of opportunism and vacuous celebrity activism.

*Then his suck-up open letter to Browns fans about how much he loved them and Cleveland (lovely Cleveland!) before he was godsmacked with the DeShawn Watson signing.

*Then the continual pouting.

*35 QBR in 14 games in 2021.


But overall all, me good lads and stout bland men, I think Mayfield is ... a bit unstable.

LOL. Baker beat the Cowboys? 300 yards on the ground had nothing to do with it? LOL honestly some of you make me laugh. When Dak was winning in 2016 it was all Zeke. But Baker and the Browns win with 300 yards rushing and its Baker. You cant make this stuff up

he looked good with jags but got hurt, then they let him go or traded him to chicago, and chicago sucks, no matter who is at qb.
fans there wanted to see the new rookie wonder, so they put him in replacing foles, which really did foles a favor.
I watched some of the foles games in chicago, and he looked ok to me.
