News: Mayfield or Dak

he looked good with jags but got hurt, then they let him go or traded him to chicago, and chicago sucks, no matter who is at qb.
fans there wanted to see the new rookie wonder, so they put him in replacing foles, which really did foles a favor.
I watched some of the foles games in chicago, and he looked ok to me.

Oooooh, hate to disagree w/ you bud, but at this point you definitely can. Foles is 33 YOA and has stunk it up more than not.

I don't believe in Dak but Mayfiled really just sucks.

I will take Dak any day and would not even bother with baker.

Absolutely, but I would prefer Jimmy Garappolo or Nick Foles.
Mayfield would compete, but Foles or Garappolo would easily outplay Dak and the change would finally occur in which Garrettocracy no longer exists in the locker room.

Foles is so done and Garrapollo is not good at all.

Not big on Dak but both are a waste of time.

Mayfield is also very flawed. He can't play out of the pocket, he is only effective on the move. He has a strong arm than Dak, but there is no way to move off of Dak's contract for the next three years.

I think Mayfield is better than he showed last year. But the fact remains that he's limited. He's got an average arm, average mobility (in a league that really, really rewards mobile / running QBs), and doesn't handle pass rush pressure well. Those flaws are baked (Baked?) into the cake with him, and permanently cap his upside in the lower half of starting QBs.

I'd take him as a bridge quarterback 50 times out of 10 over Carson Wentz though... don't know what the hell Washington is doing there. Baker will eventually settle into that kind of Carson Wentz, Teddy Bridgewater type role as a 1 year gun-for-hire. He's not a franchise QB in the league, but he's plainly smarter and more accurate than a lot of other QBs, and that will keep him cashing checks for a long time.

4 years, 4 head coaches much tougher division and still has the same amount of playoff wins as Dak in 6 years! lol And it was a division win on the road.

Dak always or most of the time has good to great stats, that why some call him Stats Prescott ! He wins in Stats, but loses the game !
happens a lot with him. A lot of those stats are in garbage time come backs where they still lose.
