You could just keep on pretending that's not a problem. lol
Have you been creating straw men long?

No one pretends it's not a problem. Some of us choose to look forward and not backward. Whining about it every time you get near a keyboard is not going to change it.

Straw men? lol I'm not whining, just not gloating about how this team is great in the war room based on pro bowls, it's ridiculous. How can you not look backwards considering how the season ended 3 years in a row? That success or lack thereof is the basis and measuring stick for drafting well.

When does that quality drafting eventually equal postseason success? It's a legit question and you have no answer. 37 wins? lol No one cares when you look that bad in the playoffs. You would think that 37 wins would be a springboard.. not here. That's a problem!
How about this year.

Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy and defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer will not be attending next week’s NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis.

McCarthy: “Zim and I will have a full week together here and cover a lot of ground with things we’re working on. At the same time, we can still participate in the combine process and have direct contact through video calls and meetings, while having our coaches on the ground there as well.”

of course not. why should they? MM on the last year of his contract. doesn't matter and zimmer is just auditioning for a position somewhere next year..

great job Jerry, you have set up just a great football operation...

fat chance this team has any success next year.

Jerry wants a bit more freedom to talk to other coaches for a “just in case”. And be the coach for the Cowboys at the combine.

I don't get enamored by workout videos anyway. If it does not translate to the field it is pretty much useless.

Doesn't matter cause it all comes down to the insane decisions we make on draft day. The team overthinks everything and conducts the draft like a salary cap, like you get extra points from 'value'.

If we would just draft the best players at our pick, like we did with Ceedee, Diggs, Parsons, we'd be much better off.

The combine is a silly thing anyways

Lets flog them.

Use the combine no-show as a reason to create combine no-shows by coaches as unforgivable.

Absolutely. I mean those guys are studs.

We can add guys like Sam Williams, Neville Gallimore, Jabril Cox, Josh Ball, Matt Waletzko and Will's pet cat Reggie Robinson II. The list goes on and on.

If they're there he will find them.
Absolutely BRUTAL!

Absolutely insane that people here think McClay is some kind of genius while he's scared to death to interview for a GM job fearing they will ask him GM questions.

McClay does nail it.

Stay home. Let Will find the Kelvin Josephs, Trysten Hills, Taco Charltons, Chauncey Golstons, Nahshon Wrights, etc. The man has a gift for it.

I guess the question is are Andy Reid and the other top HCs in the NFL there? Are the Top OC's and DC's there?
IF so then its another example of only caring about relevancy.
If not many of the best are there, then maybe its not that important.

It's not about 10 years. It's about the last 3 years and this year.
Dak has been the QB since 2016
Jerry has been the real GM since Jimmy Johnson left.
Its not just about the last 3 years of failure ....... its about the last 28 years and how sane fans have had enough of sitting politely with our mouths closed and taking this garbage.

Throughout modern history consumers have not gotten what they wanted without rebelling ...... prohibition, classic coke, hot mustard, futurama, ect ect
