If you can not admit that his production went from extraordinary to pathetic in a very short period of time then you have your eyes closed. You can make whatever excuses you want but it does not change the reality.
SO that explains you calling him "fat" and such?

ronnie and duncan have outlined his injuries...the 2021 hurt the most because they asked him to play through. At least this year they gave him 2 games off. You can make excuses (all) you want but it does not change the reality.

Zeke-haters darling Saquan would have sat out in a heart beat. Or maybe his organization has the brains and care to sit him.

Maybe this has been said here already….I didn’t go through 12 pages of posts…but the main problem I see with Zeke returning is that this team feels like they HAVE to play him. And give him the majority of the snaps. That’s a big NO for me. Maybe it was just Moore getting bullied around by the Jones’s last year hopefully.

That's exactly it. He will definitely effect the carries that the younger guys should be getting. It's time to churn the RBs and find a good, young, productive and inexpensive group and not go back to that. Yes a good running back at one time, but sold as much more and that's a problem.

Good luck finding another player like Zeke.

It's time for the team and player to part ways.. jeez. That's life in the NFL. They'll never find another Zeke?? lmao. Like I said .. way overvalued. The offense will somehow carry on. LOL

I know. The nerve of someone not being Gordon Ramsey and not liking the food they were served. Such arrogance! DON'T THEY KNOW WHO I AM!?!?!?!
It is possible to not like the product without hating the cook.

Zeke is a shell of his former self, his stats clearly show his decline.

For 2022, his total rushing attempts, his total yardage, his average per carry, his long for the season, his first down runs, and the percentage of runs resulting in a first down were all career lows.

For comparison purposes, he played just 10 games in 2017 and posted better number across the board than he did playing 15 games last year.

Look, I feel bad for Zeke, but the facts are what the facts are and as they say "facts dont have feelings"..................Other teams know these stats as well, that is why Zeke is still unsigned.

Nope...there some hate around. It's part of human nature. Some people need self validation by tearing down other people.

Making up lies about zeke...just to validate their opinion? HATE.

Ridiculing for raising his hand to come out, then ridiculing for playing injured, or playing poorly injured? HATE.

Making fun of his appearance...like children on the playground? It's hate.

There's certainly other issues going on here...especially the self validation part. But if ya think the vile "hate" has no part in this you are kidding yourself.

People finally got what they wished for and instead of being glad and wishing him well in whatever endeavor comes next....they continue crapping on him. Good human beings and all.
You are becoming as polarized as Roy.

Why is this difficult, why do we make Icons out of our RBs?

Is it because of the great history at RB associated with this franchise?

Garrison
Dorsett
Smith
Walker
Hill

I ask this question seriously, have the fanbase been conditioned into thinking that RBs still should hold value when they are clearly just running out of juice?

This is a different era and RBs run out of juice quickly in todays game, teams like SF know and understand this throey, many teams in the league are and have been platooning their RB core.

We are just now figuring this out.

Watch Davis beat out Jones in camp... we are on this now.

I wouldn't be surprised if the FO chose to pretend Zeke would be welcomed back if he couldn't latch on with another team. They might have wanted other teams to be open to signing him, as a favor. I can't help but doubt they'd cut him with true intentions of re-signing him later if he couldn't get signed elsewhere. The Cowboys' FO does many things that are somewhat inexplicable. This could well be just another example of that.

Let’s not dismiss the fact Zeke wanted to play through the injury. Don’t just blame the team. Many of the “haters” wanted Zeke in street clothes while the “lovers” were bragging about his toughness because most of you didn’t want Pollard prove he was better than Zeke.

Fixation on fame and glamour. In the history of the NFL... Running backs are cartoon stars, in our minds.

It's delicious that offensive linemen now are valued much more and get bigger bucks.

Of course he wants to play. Emmitt did it busted up. Romo did it. Not all players are built that way. Some will sit for a hangnail. It's the final decision and responsibility of doctors and coaches. Plain and simple.

"most of you didn't "want" Pollard to prove he was better than zeke".

Another bold, outright lie. You find it so easy to spew them.
