Fisher was reporting on the fan that the front office, Stephen and Jerry, absolutely want him. However, the coaches have been lobbying to cut ties with him because hes a great player on Sundays but all the days that aren't Sunday hes been hard to work with.

So what would Garrett have to gain by saying that? To be tricky or mysterious about something that is not 100% his decision?

Dallas can probably wait until training camp to sign him. I mean there is zero market for him outside of Dallas. I thought he was dynamic at start of last year but totally unreliable toward the end and through his career.

No.

If they are going to sign him, they need to do it soon so he has a full off-season of training, OTA's, mini camp, etc.

Sitting around until training camp will be counter productive. He needs to be signed by the time players first report or very soon thereafter. He needs to get in condition for the long haul. Not doing so was what hurt him last year.

He said it was an "indefinite bathroom break". He also reported some other unacceptable stuff that wasn't reported as it happened which is also unacceptable to me. I'm starting to look sideways at all of it, Unless I hear something from Jerry or Jason, its all relative..

For whatever reason, Fisher has not reported anything positive about RoMc. Sometimes people have issues with certain guys but Fisher just won't let this one go.

That don't even sound right.

Fisher is proving to be a hack. 3 days before Hardy was signed, he said he was out.

I'd like to point out that some people here claimed he was the most reliable "insider" reporter re: Cowboys.

If that happens, he will fall way down on my "groupie" list.

We should be used to this by now.

Yea but som people here believe that he reports the most accurate info, to include those that actually work within the walls of VR.

At the end of the day, working as a media member outside/inside of VR has it's moments.

Probably because it isn't.

I have a pretty decent feeling that if Jerry and Stephen Jones say yes, and the head coach say they are keeping the lines of communication open, then that is what is more likely the case.

Yet, Fisher denies it.

Perhaps McClain has treated the assistant towel boy harshly as we know that is probably as "inside" as he gets.

i dont think its Garrett the one saying hes difficult to work with. I think Fisher is alluding to its coaches on the defense reaching out to the front office. I think if the Fisher report is true the coaches are telling Jerry and Stephen to be careful giving this guy a good sized contract like rolando wants because he may get paid and then bad habits will come out again. thats my only guess as to why some coaches may be telling the front office to hold off on this. this assuming what fisher is reporting is correct.

That's alot of assuming for a guy that charges his readers a premium for "insider" information that has proven to be misinformation on more than one occasion.

on the fan fisher never denied that the deal is completely dead, he just said he heard that coaches are telling the front office to maybe move on because hes not worth the hassle and money he may be asking for. The anchors even asked him if the deal is 100% off and he said no its not 100% off but the rumblings he was hearing was enough for him to report it. the deal could still happen but at this point the sides werent close.

It only makes sense for the Cowboys to keep things open.

The 49ers are even looking at Erin Henderson, along with Mason Foster and Lance Briggs.

It makes sense we have been talking to him in the last couple of days, the market is heating up.
