Behind the scenes? It's pretty well known he's paid like an NFL GM and he's considered by the Joneses to be so close as to be considered extended family. He's never been coy that he loves his job in Dallas.

Literally the only place I've ever read that he's itching to escape Jerry and get an actual meaningless GM title is on this website.

What I mean is that I don't see a lot of public reports about how he's the highest-paid this or that. I've read the innuendo, sure, but it doesn't seem to be publicly discussed.

They make have........just not publically. If I were Jerry, I would ask him, what it takes to keep you here AND give it to him. Hell, even if they give him the title, he still reports to Jerry coz he's Pres/owner. I just think Jerry has promised Will something major via writing or handshake. No man is going to keep turning down offers if his current employer isn't giving him what he wants.
