As of weeks end:
McFadden 208 rushes - 898 yards - 3 TD's.
Murry 176 rushes - 606 yards - 4TD's.

And Murry is the Eagles leading rusher and they benched him. Go figure.

Considering their respective salaries, looks like the Cowboys got a bargain and the Eagles got robbed. What is it, $1.5M vs $7M? Something like that.

Going into this season, I had a suspicion that Oakland RB Latavius Murray would have more yards than Demarco Murray.

Latavius Murray was a great find for Oakland.

I wonder if the people that think we used up Murray last year think we used up an older more fragile player in McFadden?

This has been the third biggest workload in his whole career.

Considering their respective salaries is something the fans never do but should. Dallas did get a bargain.

With all due respect to McFadden, but his year was uneventful for the Cowboys. Yes, he's done better than we expected, but it really hasn't meant that much.

His accomplishments get washed out with a bad season. With the exception of the Commanders game, none of his high-performance games really mattered.

He filled in admirably, but we need someone better than he next year. He can come in for a carry here and there, but I wouldn't look to him to be the main guy next year.

What was the point of this post? If it was to simply insinuate that Murray is being misused in Filthy and would be blowing DMC's stats out of the water if he were still in this system, I wholeheartedly agree. Oh & Romo would still be upright too... & we would be leading the division.

We didn't get a bargain. The FO got a bargain. Maybe folks are satisfied with McFadden's performance if your only concern is fantasy football, but McFadden simply does not bring what Murray brought last year. McFadden is much better than expected, but the running game is not the staple of our offense like it was last year. We were right in letting Murray go for 8 million a year, but we should have used that 3rd rounder to draft an rb and let that rb split carries with McFadden.
