How much better would the running game (and offense) be if they stopped constantly running those stretch plays and losing yards.

Straight ahead with power sweeps and tosses mixed in (similar to the 2nd Giants game) please.

I agree, DMC would have had 20 to 30 more yards....

Eh, he's okay. He's certainly our best back but his acquisition made the front office comfortable we were set at RB and we were not set.

I'm sure whoever you were pushing for would be doing better, maybe you could name a name, but I doubt it

I think we all know who has been pushing the McFadden agenda ever since he first got signed

There were a couple of us.

My seemingly bold prediction before the season that McFadden would outrush Murray is looking less outlandish by the minute.

It's just too bad the team wasted all that time trying to make Randle into the bell cow.

He has done a lot more than I thoght he would.

If McFadden and Turbin can get us through the ROS that would be OK.

A couple more TDs would be nice since I picked up McFadden when I lost AFoster.

When he gets some decent blocking, he can make some things happen. Got a few tough runs in today to get us some 1st downs late, to help seal the game.

Seriously. He has not. He is garbage. Did you see the gaping hole he had to run through that one time? Any RB could run behind this line and get 100 on 25+ carries. ANY rb!!!

Not a fan. Looks average, there are a lot of backs out there that can do what's he's done. Lacks vision, but he does hit the hole hard.

Thats why you pay a guy like that peanuts instead of 8million a year.

I actually made that into a bet with somebody I know. He gonna owe me $100

Dude McFadden shows absolutely nothing unless there is a 5 yard lane to run through. When Turbin(a solid back) goes in you could see the difference. He pushed the pile and broke tackles. Something McFadden doesn't do at all.

Darren was playing injured and I thought he looked it at times, especially on the first long run, which could have been a td. The play calling/ decision making by coaches was atrocious and yet the win came in spite of it. Almost every 1st and 10 was a run, ridiculous, and over and over and over off the left side for negative yds. or minimal at best.

I see you turned Madden on autopilot on your Playstation instead of watching the game that was actually played. I'm sure the NFL Network will replay the game, so be sure to catch the real one when you get a chance.

Now, to the rest of us who live in reality ....

I think the running game could improve with better play calling. It should not be obvious that we're going to run on first down. We need to use playaction some and maybe even a rare fea-flicker. Run sometimes on first; pass sometimes on first. It's not that complicated. That will give McFadden and Turbin way better chances.

And, as I first said, we might still want to draft a RB and let him compete in next year's training camp. McFadden may again emerge as the main guy, or he may be the change of pace guy next season. At least for now he's the main guy.
