I'm sure he's wanting one more big pay day, and he.ll probably get it If he keeps this up. I'm not sure I'd give it to him though

Define big pay day?

Best case scenario, he gets a 2 year 7 mil type deal. Nobody is paying him to be their starting RB

He's turned out to be an excellent offseason pickup. We were able to run the ball and take pressure off the passing game and hence Romo could work magic when passing. Then it was great how we could grind it out to cement the win. This Robert Turbin is showing some promise too. It still may make sense to draft a running back and have competition for the starting job, but I definitely want McFadden to stick around.

I admit that I was at least partially wrong about McFadden. I thought he was the player we saw in those first few games and even against Tampa, but when he's been decisive and run with power, he's been an effective player.

I do like how Turbin runs. He's a fighter and at least looks like he could be a good complement to McFadden.

he'll be turning 30 when he finishes his second year here and becomes a FA. Unless he hits his incentive here and runs for 2,000 yards next year, i don't see him getting a big pay day.

One of the few things the front office got right this year was signing McFadden. I just cringe every time he takes a shot or barrells through the line of scrimmage, worrying he may go down for the season.....

Front office hasn't been bad at all. Sure there where some misses, but there where some hits as well. It's hard to be perfect.
1. Sign McFadden - good
2. Sign Hardy - good
3. Sign white - avg/ bad
4. Sign Collins - good
5. Draft Gregory - avg ( haven't seen enough PT)
6. Sign cassel - avg ( I think he's gonna be decent with a full off season as a back up qb)
7. Sign CM- bad ( but we didn't lose anything. He didn't play enough to even lose our 7th )
8. Chaz green - bad ( for now)
9. Draft Byron jones - good
10. Sign lucky - meh bad/ avg
11. Sign Brice butler - meh bad but necessary to have 4 wrs on game day.
12. Sign Ro - avg/ good. His arrow is up

Sure there are other issues like evaluation of the back up qb position prior to the season started but if you look at the entire body of work - not bad.
