Lots of fans and the radio hosts on WIP are saying if he can not win next week then he needs to be cut. Also he he is getting ripped for selling out his young WRs and saying they need to step up vs. knowing how to find a way to make a play. They think McNabb should point the finger at himself for missing the WRs.

He missed two big plays. The bomb to Jackson and the deep In by Maclin.

Both would have resulted in big plays and possible TD's.

It would have turned the game around.

Iggles are dangerous. I don't expect them to make the same errors next time around.

In typical Philly fan over-reaction they're once again ready to run this guy out on a rail cause he isn't perfect.

Of course the same could be said for some of the Cowboys fans on these forums as well.

True, but whoever loses this game Saturday will be ripped all Off Season.

Heck, you have some Cowboys fans saying the Eagles relaxed so they could be ready for Saturday, so you can only imagine what they will say if we lose.

Let them implode. We've got a home game following a dominating shutout. I love it.

I'm looking forward to watching them implode :)

McNabb is still an elite QB in this league and Philly would be have to be absolutely braindead to let him go.

The fans are never happy. For years before Romo, I would have gladly taken McNabb over any slop we had out there at QB. That being said, if the Boys win Saturday night, the Kevin Kolb era will begin in Philly next year and he just might be better.

This is the key.

He has never been nearly as great as he has been heralded, especially since his knee surgery which took a lot of the streetball out of him. As for his special brand of leadership, well, you just need to look at him rolling the younger players under the bus, which is the direct opposite of what his head coach stated. Burn, baby. Burn.

If he is elite, that does not say much for the QBing in the league.

Brady, Rivers, Brees and Manning are elite. The only thing elite about McNabb is the manner in which he spits the bit at one point or another each year.

Can you please expound on why you believe McNabb is an elite QB?

HA ha.. Maybe Reed should bench him for next week's game! :lmao:

mcnabb is a good as they get when he is on, unfortunately he is off waaaay too often to be considered elite imho. mcnabb should have at least one trophy to his credit but his inconsistent play he doesnt own a ring.

I hope they extend him another 10 years.

He's an inconsistent coach killer who makes a highlight reel play one down and then throws the ball in the dirt 5 feet in front of his receiver the next. Then he blames the receiver for it and fakes a limp off the field to go pout.

They are going to be much more dangerous when Kolb takes over that team, just like they were when Garcia did for a spell.

True ! But, it seemed that Mcnabb had too much time to throw those throws, may be the gameplan was a tad plain y'day , at times it seemed we ruch only 3 , so he was having too much time to sit in the pocket, but coverage was good. this might change next week.

;)

You can't really call him a coach killer, considering him and Reid have been attached since his entrance into the league.
