Meet the craziest athlete in NFL history (Read Post 22 Before Posting)

one of my Cowboy Heroes.
started writing letters to him in '86.
incredibly nice man.
he'd send me stuff...autographed photos,letters.
i'd send a thank you letter.
he'd answer it.
he didn't have to do that.
but he did.
and i wondered...does he do that for everybody that wrote him?
true class.
on and off the field.

It is ok to have a different point of view all respected.....my comment was really pure based on his playing skill, athleticism, and dedication. since i don;t keep with current news and events i am always the last to know

Walker may have been the extreme example, but he wasn't alone in regards to a good work ethic going back to the 80s. He probably showed up to camp already in shape. Today I think guys show up to camp to get back in shape. Probably why you see a lot of injuries early on. With the money these guys make today they're probably focused on having fun in the off season, not conditioning.
