I remember my dad talking about Looney when I was a kid growing up in Texas. My dad met Looney in the early 60's. I just recall my dad shaking his head and saying, "h3ll of a football player, but one crazy son of a $@$$@$"Joe Don Looney was the craziest athlete in NFL history — figuratively and literally.
