Schefter claiming that Murray is going to Philly with the intention of signing a contract with them today. Also reports are that Matthews has not signed his contract which means they might not be paying both Murray or Matthews. If Murray signs, Matthews deal might be pulled.

I am sure there are nice areas, .. but all I see and hear about Philthy is nasty.

I don't know. I was a little boy then. I remember taking walks with him around the city. Great memory. Maybe it was different back then. I know that Eagle fans are nothing but thugs. That's one thing I've learned since following the NFL.

This would be just stupid on Chip's part.

Murray will NOT be successful in that scheme. He can't get outside quick enough. He's better in an I-formation. He's a long strider, not a quick scat guy like Lamichael James.

That's a lot of money just to pass protect for Bradford.

The moment Murray personally called Chip told me that he wouldn't be a cowboy. He doesn't make that move with plans of signing with Dallas. So good riddance...

The Eagles offensive scheme is essentially the same as when Murray and Bradford were in Oklahoma... try to keep up..:)

And he's not nearly as fast these days as he was then. I'm an OU fan, and I saw every game.

Explain to me why 30 teams in the NFL aren't interested.

Granted, he is noticeably slower... 30 teams aren't interested because he wants 9 million a year.... but the offense is much more than "hand off and run outside".
That being said, I will be in the 'he's dead to me' camp if he signs with Philly.

How would you feel about CJ Spiller and Todd Gurley combination?

Or Adrian Peterson?

I'm intrigued.

They have a zone blocking scheme similar to Dallas'. The biggest difference is more shotgun.

Because 30 teams don't need Rbs this year?

Dallas isn't just a zone-blocking team. They run a mix of blocking schemes, including a lot of pulling with the guards.

Philly is pretty much ONLY shotgun. Murray isn't best suited for that.

Murray needs a fullback and the I-formation to be successful.

San Diego. Arizona. Detroit. NY Jets. Baltimore. Miami. Atlanta. Tampa. Denver. Tennessee. Indianapolis....

Lots of teams could have used Murray. They are just smart enough not to pay that much for a RB.
