Jake Lee is who you are thinking of. Loved his work on Badlands after he left ozzy...great 70's style guitar rock.

Somehow I knew you'd know. :D
Yeah he was great.

Check out "The Big 4"..Megadeth destroys everyone with their set and performance.

I haven't gotten over Metallica's radical change after what they put out in the early days, which leads me to believe my statement about Burton's passing taking much of their music with him....there is a reason they moved up to NoCal.It was Burton. He was THAT special.

I love Megadeth, from Last Rites, the great cover of These Boots, thumping Sweating Bullets to the quirky but cool Dawn Patrol. But nothing compares to the epicness of Fade to Black, the thrashing in Damage Inc "step a little closer if you please ..., and my all time favorite Metallica song Harvester of Sorrow.

There's a reason why Metallica is on my skin.

I'll go with Megadeth solely b/c I know one of the band members.

A girl I went to High School with's dad is in the band. I've met him a few times and he was pretty nice. So due to that, I'll go with them.

To make such a broad statement, yes, however, you get cool points for having you musical taste buds blazing the right path.
I recommend Iron Maiden.Get their 80's catalog if you have not.
Lots and lots of music there.

Metallica.

I prefer poltically charged music though, Rise Against, Raised Fist, Rage Against the Machine

His name is Shawn Drover. He's a drummer.

I am friends with his daughter Alexa.

So cool! Shawn Drover has done a hell of a job becoming the drummer for Megadeth. He was a little timid at first, but he's right where he should be now. His brother is a heck of a guitarist. He played in Megadeth for a few years, but is no longer with them.

His daughter lives in Kennesaw, where I live now. We went to middle school and high school together. I didn't see him a lot, only a handful of times. But he was a pretty cool guy from what I saw.

That's funny...Megadeth is by far more political than Lars & Co.

Well I just mentioned that for the sake of mentioning it, Metallica and Megadeth are not my favorite bands I prefer the sound of Metallica though.

I have both in my collection, but I lean more towards Metallica. I listen to "One" at the beginning of almost every workout. Gets me moving.
