Micah Parsons on Zeke's new haircut and signing with Patriots: Zeke is going for 2k yards

Well if he (Zek)does get 1500 yards, one would have to assume the culture is the issue in Dallas. I believe it is.
This will be a good chance to see if it is. BB culture has to be totally different than Jerrys culture here.
I noticed several teams with new HC have emphasized all offseason and in TC to put in place a new culture of accountability, working hard,
no one has a guaranteed position, everything has to be earned each week.

Cards are one and their bkups played great in the 1st PS game.
Detroit is another team, and they should be ready to have a good year this season.
I was surprised by the Cards though. It looks like they are going with colt McCoy @ qb till murray is healthy and back.
Good chance for him to show he can be a starter.

alright zeke , new haircut new legs .

The players here absolutely love Elliott. I think he was a good locker-room guy. It's only here that he gets branded as trash. I wish him well, except when he plays us.
They know he was playing through injuries and it slowed him down the last 2 seasons.

I hope Zeke bombs over there. I really do. There I said it.

I don't think anyone would have complained about Zeke as much at a $5 or 6 million price tag. He took up another starting level player salary and he certainly wasn't good enough to do that.

He was also excessively played when there was a better option on the bench in most situations the last couple of years.. and it was mostly because his salary pushed the powers at be to make sure he plays. Everyone knows that. Would've looked bad on the Jones's had Zeke been officially benched as a starter because of Pollard.

With that said, I hope it works out for him in NE. He may have another year or so left but we'll see.
It is $3 million base salary, with $1 million signing bonus. Incentives could reach another $2 million.

That's what he should have been making in Dallas the last 3 seasons! No problem with that.
Goodell should’ve been suspended him again. Then there would’ve been no hold out and Jeritol would not have caved.

I'm gonna drop this right here for all you guys incessantly whining about zeke's money...

Not that it matters. Some people just don't care about reason.

Interesting that Parson's usual bravado that he speaks with is being downplayed because its about zeke.

usually whenever this guy says anything cowboys fans nod in agreement.

Zeke's been humbled. Perhaps he's drawing inspiration & resolve from that experience. The new look at least superficially suggests an intent to remake himself. I wish him well.

Haven't heard anything about his current state of health, or the nagging injuries that appear to have hampered him to some degree the past couple of seasons in Dallas?

Limited use and preservation would've helped him tremendously
He generally started out strong but they quickly wore him down by requiring him to be on the field so much as a blocker.

As far as we have come from the Garrett days, this organization still makes some strange decisions. It was obvious Pollard needed more touches & Zeke fewer yet we just kept on feeding Zeke & accelerating his demise.

That would help the Cowboys. No way in heck Goodell was going to do that. He was after Jerry for trying to cut off his gravy train.
