I don’t get it - why all the hand wringing ?
Ramsey wanted to go to Miami?
How was Dallas supposed to pay Jalen 22 million then have to pay Diggs the same or more ? So over 40 million tied up in two DB? Then have to pay Micah and Cee Dee - another 40+ million ?? The math just don’t add up
I get it but there is no way any team could’ve done that but oh well

Not only that but in a passing league I don’t think I want to invest in two cornerbacks. It rarely works out.

We need a Cornerback and once again we failed. A 3rd rounder for Jalen Ramsey is a steal. Talk all you want Micah. Jerry and Capboy needs to understand we are hungry for a championship.

For me, I wouldn't. I would say that Jerry took a quality chance on a player that I think makes a lot of logical sense. If it doesn't work, then, ok, at least we tried. That's my opinion on that.

Frankly, it's at a point where I question if the FO even cares anymore. Honestly, do they actually care about winning the Super Bowl? This was the opportunity to make our secondary the most feared in the league. Even if Ramsey isn't what he once was, he'd have Diggs and Bland as his cohorts at CB. He would be able to get back to insane levels with us. Especially with what Quinn would do with him. We'd essentially be a team where passing on us is not an option. Then, as stated, getting a NT would mean that running on us wouldn't be possible either. Guess what that means?

100% agree. They don’t even try to improve outside of the draft.

The irony of it is the lack of movement is due to the front office planning ahead for Micah's contract, along with guys like Lamb and Diggs. What's the point of planning ahead when a lack of movement will end up pushing the guy off of the team anyways?

That and getting a NT like Clark in the draft along with a WR and OT in the draft means that our team would have had it's biggest holes filled. Problem is, Jerry can't seem to understand that now is when we need to go all in. We have the team, imo, if he will take a few chances. I'd rather him take quality chances like this and fail than not try. At least then I can defend it saying that he at least tried.

Take on Ramsey's contract and kiss some guys these same Cowboys fans want to pay and keep goodbye. It's one or the other, not both.
