I don't get why its such a big deal. I think he said lane Johnson was a mentor to him, plus he's from the Philly area.

People will make this out to be a bigger deal than it really is. Most players in this league consider it a brotherhood of sorts and when not playing, they'll pull for guys they like. Parsons respects Johnson. No skin off my butt but I am sure some of the insecure fans here will have a big problem with it.

not only that but Parsons is from PA....it'd be hard to imagine that he didn't grow up an eagles fan...You don't stop being a fan overnight lol

Yes he wore down second half of the years, but he was still impacting games. But when it counted both playoff games he showed up. Tons of pressures and run stops in both games. He did what he had to do.
