I actually worked for PFF for a season in 2018. The data that they have you collect and the information that they process is pretty absurd to be honest. Plus the data they had me collect was used by watching the broadcast copies of the game. It was taking me 6 hours to watch a game and decided that was pretty stupid and quit.

I actually didn’t get paid that season, but if I remember correctly they pay you per game and how “accurate” your data collection is compared to other analysts who collect it. If you did it long enough it probably wouldn’t be a bad little side gig but I wasn’t willing to stick around that long
