Let me break this down for you. People keep saying “if it’s not affecting his play who cares” you’re one of them.
Do you know what’s plagued this organization for years? Thinking they are somebody and 0 accountability. The attention from the media makes them believe they are rockstars and don’t have to do anything to earn it. That culture is why this team hasn’t won a thing in 27 years. Coming out flat in the playoffs. Why? Because they think they have already won. There is no need to put in the work, to practice when no one is watching, to get down and dirty and put in the work. You keep saying Irvin would have done the show if it was around. No. He wouldn’t have. Jimmy would have told him to sit his butt back in his seat and watch film.

News flash. It’s been affecting them for 27 years. For a team that hasn’t won in that long, got absolutely dominated in a home playoff game not even a year ago, they sure love hearing themselves speak.
That’s the problem with this team. Fans that believe this kind of behaviour is ok because we have just come to accept it as the norm. It’s not. Winning franchises don’t allow this kind of stuff to happen. You think Bill Belichek would let his player get full of himself and go on tv weekly for a season? The last guy who got to big in his britches Bill sent packing to Cleveland. That’s accountability. Not this.
