The Dallas Cowboys are a laughingstock. I feel bad for legends like Irvin who have to be associated with it.

He’s 100% right, the guys before created the legacy and brand and these current players are just benefiting off what the legends built without having to do anything. Unearned status and popularity, they **** on what these guys did to make Dallas what it is. That’s why it’s so personal for Irv, he’s doesn’t deserve to be associated with this trash.

This. Michael is not an intelligent person. Great football player but I don't care what he thinks. Michael was given a free pass on terrible choices he's made because he was as good as he was on the field.
There are many others who fall into this category - Peyton Manning & Emmit Smith come immediately to mind in their hawking the Bud Lite brand. Just follow them to the bank.

Michael needs to get a life. Most former players have acknowledged the losing culture and speak on it from time to time. Michael still trusts the Jones family to his own embarrassment.
Jerry and Steven not out there playing. The players we had are good enough to beat GB. They just played uninspired ball us all he is saying.

I definitely hurt after these loses, but I am finding myself snapping out of it faster and faster as the playoff failures keep piling up. By the time I went to bed last night, I felt pretty much over it.
I hear you! I have even gone so far to expect to lose every big game. I picked the Pack to win in our pick the winner poll.
I have watched the last several seasons with the, how are they going to screw in up this time, attitude.
As long as #4 is behind center and all the players knowing Jerry is really the one calling the shots, not the coaches, I expect more of the same for several years. It is actually easier going into and watching big games with low or no expectations.

Ya'll understand just how historically bad we were yesterday? This just wasn't a ugly loss...Green Bay could have scored 70 on us if they so chose. Thats with Jordan Love.Imagine what Purdy or someone else might have done to the great DQ defense. We clearly were deer in headlights all day on both sides of the ball and we looked confused, pointing fingers during the game. Thats a lack of leadership at all levels. Irvin is right. Time for a complete makeover for the team.

I believe that perhaps Fergeson may have the stuff, (the passion), you are alluding to. Beyond him, I can't think of anyone else. It is not only a culture of losing that permeates the Star, but a very different kind of athlete nowadays.
Ferguson, even now, is a big contributor. At least a 5 year window right now. Keeper...

I do agree that Dak is not the guy. However, I think a bettter head coach could get more out of him by playing to his strengths, & putting him in better positions. It's his responsibility to do that. He's failed at that.

The number one job of the Head Coach is to have his team prepared. Did they look prepared to you..? Did they look motivated ? Did they even play with passion..? If you answered yes to any of those questions, then we were watching different games.

One of, if not the most penalized team in the league.... again. How many games this year did poor clock management bite us..? That's type of stuff is ALL on the Head Coach. Teams usually reflect the attitude of the head coach. McCarthy has simply continued camp cupcake, & the hollywood atmosphere of this team.
Oh I'm sure McCarthy has his faults. But I don't think there is a HC out there that is going to fix the Dallas Cowboys, not with this owner and front office. It simply can't be done. So we can swap out coaches and co-ordinators till you are blue in the face, but at some point you need to consider that the one constant in this entire sorry 30 years of winning nothing has been Jerry and his hand picked sycophants and family. No changes there and no changes to the talent, but hey another HC is going to magically get the most of a group that has no pride to even show up for a home playoff game?

Lazy prep makes for what we been seeing the last several years. Relying on just talent gets you beat. The other team is just as talented and when they outwork you, out prep you, out scheme you, your done...its all over. Very embarrassing. We are a laughing stock. The media is celebrating our demise again and again...Ya'll ever recall seeing guys running THAT wide open before? All game long? MM must go, DQ must go...the entire staff was arse. The players didnt wanna compete.

He's right, hopefully all you head in the clouds folks came back down to Earth with the rest of us after last night. Looks like Playmaker is here with us, thank goodness. It's gonna take guys like him to turn on the company line to start making real change.
You first explain how the tush push is a matter of physics and apply technique that uses the power of an immovable ground strength to win. Yea, all is stupidity around you...

All of these past teams in the decades of drought have rested on the laurels of the past great champion teams.

This current team needs to learn how to fight. Paper champions again. No grit. No emotions. Yet they were trying to bicker with a team that was showing them mercy by putting in their second stringers. Pathetic effort in all phases of the game.

It's hard for real fans
This is why it is strange to see the childish ( I was right ) finger-pointing posts from some fans. We all are hurting........

He's literally pointing a finger in the video yelling at the team. You make no sense.

Jimmy J was totally embarrassed too. Those legends and us fans deserve a better product.

Jerry is the GM. Jerry chose the coach. Jerry pays the uninspired players. What am I missing?
That’s he’s the owner and he’s not going anywhere. The coach was good enough for 12 wins right? Trust me j want him gone too but it’s not Jerry’s fault. Mike didn’t have them ready so he gets fired hopefully.
