McCarthy has simply continued camp cupcake, & the hollywood atmosphere of this team.
I think we have all heard Jerry wax eloquent about why he does not want a guy who is a disciplinarian as HC. He prefers coaches who are like this. You can't hire a guy for one thing and then claim that he's bad because he gave you exactly what you hired him for.

The Dallas Cowboys are a laughingstock. I feel bad for legends like Irvin who have to be associated with it.

He’s 100% right, the guys before created the legacy and brand and these current players are just benefiting off what the legends built without having to do anything. Unearned status and popularity, they **** on what these guys did to make Dallas what it is. That’s why it’s so personal for Irv, he’s doesn’t deserve to be associated with this trash.
Freaking FACTS. More players of the past need to speak out and start calling out Jerrys clown ***. Especially guys like Pearson and Roger from the Landry era.

Media Michael is no different than Steven A and Skip Nutless. This is part of his schtick. Why the hell did he post his own speech/reaction? He, Stephen A and Skip all posted themselves as hurt or elated with likely practiced and rehearsed videos.

Football player Mike may be pissed off, but as others have said, he’s the biggest cheerleader and seller of Jones’ snake oil.

that passion is whats lacking on this team

real passion

not the fake one for the cameras to see. but the one that does not accept mediocrity.

aikman in an interview with joe buck mentioned how he knew that Aikman wasn't well liked among players because he was so strict. if a mistake is made, your butt goes to the bench. thats what need. but our current culture will not allow it.

It's hard for real fans
This is why it is strange to see the childish ( I was right ) finger-pointing posts from some fans. We all are hurting........

Mike never professed to be a Rhodes Scholar, and his off-the-field high jinks reek of a poor decision maker so I don’t sit on the edge of my seat and buy into his EVERY word.

However, when the man that was the emotional leader of the Cowboys teams I care to remember goes on a rant, I’ll at least listen. Do you think Irv would have been content watching his teammates perform a glorified walkthrough in a playoff game? Hell no. His passionate/angry plea is more in response to effort than it is to X’s and O’s and execution, and rightfully so.

So do us fans deserve a team that leaves it on the field? You bet. From the perspective of the 90’s Cowboys greats, does this effort tarnish what they built? From MI’s perspective that’s a solid yes, and I didn’t see Jimmy speak at the half but I understand he was a little upset as well.

Mike, I hear ya knockin'. I've said this since the first choke job done in 2007, and all the other choke jobs done after that, the Romo led teams and now the Dak led teams, they don't understand what it takes to play for "America's Team" even if it's right in front of them, like a coach wearing a "Just Beat Dallas" shirt. The Cardinals didn't make the playoffs, but I bet they felt like they won the SB after they embarrassed us. That's what makes the 90's Cowboys so great, they won, and they were getting the best from their opponents. Every team wants to beat us, and we will get their best effort. You don't see Kittles wearing "F*** the ___" for every team they play. Tom Landry is right, he hated that "America's Team" label because like he said it puts a target on our backs. Mike understands that. Romo, Dak and the rest? I don't think they do.
And the ones pointing the fingers and saying, "I was right!" They are narcissists. They sure seem happy we got embarrassed the way we did. I'm not happy at all. How can a true fan act like they are happy we lost? I'm beyond hurt.

None of today's players want it as bad as Michael did. They all have generational wealth so if losing a playoff game is the worst thing that ever happens to them they'll have lived a good life.

This is the dawg attitude that this team is missing and never had and truly today’s athletes don’t have in most sports.

Lazy prep makes for what we been seeing the last several years. Relying on just talent gets you beat. The other team is just as talented and when they outwork you, out prep you, out scheme you, your done...its all over. Very embarrassing. We are a laughing stock. The media is celebrating our demise again and again...Ya'll ever recall seeing guys running THAT wide open before? All game long? MM must go, DQ must go...the entire staff was arse. The players didnt wanna compete.
yeah I would like to see jerry hire BB , and see if he can get something going.
I saw a db shove lamb in the back after a play and lamb just took it and did nothing!
Lamb self proclaimed himself to be the best wr in the nfl, then got shut down sunday lol.

And quinn and his defense got mauled, guys so open for GB, it was a joke lol.
