Michael doesn't realize that his "rah rah" attitude is part of the problem.

You want everyone gone? Then use your platform here on out to preach it and stop trying to hype these losers up every year.
The local media needs to find some gonads too. Every question that Jerry gets from now on should be "when are you going to hire a GM", and every organization needs to agree to that so Jerry can't take his ball and go home. He should find no safe harbor. Every journalist should go paparazzi on him and chase him down with that same question over and over again.

You want to see the mind, heart and thoughts of a Champion. Well there it is.

That right there is what is missing from this team and this franchise.

It's obvious the likes of Michael Irvin are built different. Nobody on this team has that. Not a one.

All you have to do is look in his eyes and hear him talk and you know. Damn I miss guys like him.

The Cowboys need a personality like Michael Irvin on the field. They need leadership like Emmitt and Troy. They don't have that. They do not play together. They play like individuals instead of like a team. That is the culture that has to change. If they played like a team they reverse that score yesterday and blow out the Packers. But they have too many players chasing personal achievement or that are just happy to be there. We don't need 11 stars on defense, we need 11 guys playing together and playing hard for each other.

To the OP, I am not hurting at all. And I've been a fan since I was 10. In my 40s now. That should tell you something.

I don't think Troy or Emmitt are hurting either. They know better. I love Mike but he's like the gullible fans that eat this **** up every year.

I stopped letting this team get in my emotions after 2016. That was the last time I bought in. Yesterday was just another reminder.

This team is a like a golfer with the "yips" on the putting green, which for us is the playoffs.

I think that organizational nervousness, uncertainty, anxiety, fear - whatever you want to call it - trickles down from above. Don't forget that McCarthy has been owned by his former team ever since leaving Wisconsin; the trepidation was in his eyes yesterday as well.

As Jerry Jones watched his "kids" wreck the family car.

I love what Mike said because these players think their great and have done nothing, but get admiration by fans based off the legacy of what Irvin's crew and Staubach's teams did before them.

"Put your Championship on the table"!!! They have nothing, but a WC win or two and some Pro Bowls.

I'm not hurting. Expected a collapse from this team led by a charlatan GM, choker QB, idiot HC, and overrated DC.
You should only quote someone when you can't say it better in your own words. I couldn't have expressed my sentiment any better than what you just did. I think I'll just copy and paste that as my reply when people ask me how I'm feeling today.

If you’re not hurting, go find another team.
So Michael Irvin has to "find another team"? Perhaps you've lost perspective on your place in the Cowboys cult. LOL..Jerry is the cult leader and Irvin his first LT...if anything it's you and the Dak-stans that have to go.

It's hard for real fans
This is why it is strange to see the childish ( I was right ) finger-pointing posts from some fans. We all are hurting........

Until Micheal stops kissing Jerry's butt, this will continue. Jerry is the ONLY ONLY constant throughout this drought

Displays of emotion. First from Jimmy Johnson at halftime. Now Michael Irvin. The old guard. The old guard had hookers. The old guard had life altering vehicle accidents. The old guard had cocaine. I miss the old guard.
I Miss the White Horse as well.
