I’m happy for Mike. The entire situation was sketchy as hell and the man deserves to earn a living.

That being said, I hate Skip and Stephen A and that entire strain of talk show so I won’t watch a minute of it.
he was framed, and with 0 evidence. If someone has documentation where he admitted to nefarious actions, I cant shame the guy.

Irvin did what wrong exactly? I haven't seen what his misdeed was yet. You're strongly implying he did something unlawful in some way. Show us. Is there a confession signed? Any docs to back up what your saying would be nice.
As I have maintained throughout there doesn’t appear to be any unlawful or illegal behavior unlike most of Irvin’s brushes with the law in the past but anyone who has ever dealt with HR know that accusations , circumstances and surveillance video can often be enough for a company to take action.

He probably knew or was advised it wasn’t likely he’d be hired again or at least with pending litigation.
yeah true. That said, its terrible that its that easy for an accusation with 0 evidence can damn near end a career like that. But its the world we live in. He needs to be smarter. Means stay the heck away from Hotel bars, fans I guess. Unless its a signing event.

agree...but they mishandled this badly. Its a product of the society we are in. Look at someone cross eyed , get ruined. Guilty til proven Innocent

Like I said in another post if this wasn’t a personality with numerous incidents with the law and history womanizing as such the NFLN , the hotel and public opinion might have been more hesitant of drawing such conclusions and or the actions taken.

Most likely since Irvin had history he was probably on watch for any misbehavior as such. And why being out at 2 am on the road by himself admittedly drinking wasn’t the best judgement on his part.

And guilty until proven innocent is part of living life in the public eye. Good news is their celebrity status often prevents them from as serious convictions as the average joe. It’s just the public perception which is damaging which in his case was already damaged goods.

But that carries much weight. Much like any known personality with previous history. He doesn’t have a clean slate.

You can’t place yourself in compromising position or circumstances.
I agree, but the man has equal rights like we do. The 2 am idea was a bad 1. That said, I still can't find 1 crime they proved he did. He was done dirty.

They were the defendant and didn’t need one.

His dropping the suit was probably required in order to move forward in another broadcasting role.
the accuser had zilch. otherwise we would have seen it. Heck, what a racket, maybe I should find me a rich person and get me some money and fame. if U ACCUSE SOMEONE, YES U NEED A GOOD CASE. Unless FACTS don't matter. Id appreciate anyone that has the court docs to present them here. I would like to see them. Im just curious.

Well, he was not put back on NFLN so that tells me something about their view of his case.

No one ever accused him of a crime . It was breaking company policy. And why it was probably handled by HR not law enforcement.

Again, this wasn’t a legal matter. There was enough evidence for HR to take action. Hopefully you understand the difference .

And to my knowledge the accuser hasn’t been publicly acknowledged or sought any fame or money.

And it’s difficult to see the words spoken . It becomes he said she said . Which is usually enough for HR to take disciplinary action.

The fact surveillance video confirms they had contact and conversation and Irvin surprisingly admitted he couldn’t recall what was said was also damaging.

Did you actually hear what she accused him of saying ?
