After watching the video evidence of the lobby in the Marriot of the incident and the woman's actions while conversing with Irvin, it didn't appear to me that there was anything going on that would be cause for Irvin to be removed and taken off the air.......Now I'm not a huge fan of Irvin to begin with on air, he's too much of a homer and excuse maker for the Cowboys and Jerry Jones, but I think the public should know some of the settlement details after what happened with this incident...
Irvin has such a extraordinary powerful charismatic and energetic personality that remains so infectiously entertaining
that many viewers continue to draw attention towards him. That draws ratings. The studio channels demand ratings.
I didn't expect Irvin to make it back to the front line game shows this very early.
But now I expect that is what NFL Network was waiting for.
Get the legal troubles outta the way and get him back into the viewing audiences.
I agree Irvin is too much of a rah-rah cheerleading homer, and we won't hear a see-both-sides type view from him.
And I can take only so much of him with the same 'ole.. loud, vocal, growling and hollering style.
I'm much better with hearing him occasionally than frequently.
