Yes, it does if you scroll further down I posted M.L.'s attorney with his video of where they are saying James was placed. Someone is lying here for sure.

The contentious contract negotiations that came after Leach was named Big 12 Coach of the Year included him asking to be named "Athletic Director for Football."

So are there any of these at any university?

no doubt because I've never seen any opposing coaches interviewed in the electrical room James recorded on his cell.:lmao2:

Regardless of if people think Leach is a D-Bag or a stand-up guy, I don't see much evidence so far that will prevent him from getting paid a lot of cash after the dust settles. There has to be more to this story somewhere.

Have fun back in mediocrity, Tech.

I don't know, CL.

It depends on who they can get. The final chapter of this story is still a long ways away.

Just like in March of 1994, the Cowboys players (and Jerry) were craving a light-handed players' coach when the tumultuous Jimmy Johnson era ended. They embraced the fun-loving Switzer.

Tech can't make that mistake. There's nobody on the planet like Leach, but they need to find someone who will be demanding, but without all the eccentricities (sp?).

Leach is an *** clown who's head got way to big for TTU. He did do a great job winning games there though. I don't blame TTU football fans for being pissed that he's gone.

Everyone loses with this one. Tech had reached new heights as a FB program and leach had a great situation.

There were undercurrents here for sure...and not just the 800 K bonus savings. NO DOUBT, Leach deserved some form of fairly severe penatly--regardless of what typ of player the james kid may have been. But for him to lose his job over this shows there were other forces at hand.

Leach has one of the worst ego problems in the entire coaching world (a terrible character flaw ,imo) but it seems like there are some other pretty big egos behind his firing as well.

He is a very good coach and will land on his feet just fine eventually.

Where ever he goes next I'll be a fan. I hope it is somewhere in the Big12 where he can get revenge. We all know he doesn't like to hold back when his team is rolling :p

I'd like to see Leach get a HC gig in the SEC. Can you imagine? Having Meyer, Kiffin, Saban, Petrino, AND Mike Leach all in the same conference? Sounds like the featured guest list at a ******bag convention.

Can you imagine Leach going into a kids home and trying to recruit anytime soon? Can you imagine how other teams will use this against him? What an idiot.

"I'm very sad to say there's only one person to blame for this and it's Mike Leach," Texas Tech chancellor Kent Hance told The Associated Press."

Later, in a telephone interview with ESPN's Rece Davis, Hance said: "I like him and I wanted him to be my coach, but insubordination and this type of activity just cannot be permitted."

"Texas Tech's decision to deal in lies and fabricate a story which led to my firing includes, but is not limited by, the animosity remaining from last year's contract negotiations. I will not tolerate such retaliatory action. Additionally, we will pursue all available legal remedies."

Looks like today all the stuff I was saying yesterday is now coming to light.

And yes, Jimmy. Is it wild for you think that a student trainer has a facebook? Please.

No I think it's wild that you would come on here and say you confirmed something via facebook like that would mean something.

That'd be a decent recovery from a nasty situation. Tubberville would do well there. Also, I think he has ties to the area so would maybe not be always looking to find the better deal like the previous guy.

Mike Leach on ESPN just blasted James by saying he was lazy and had written proof backing it up. Then said his dad's medaling was more than every other parent's COMBINED. Said he would call him and the position coaches and school etc. He closed it by saying the firing was about money. The school didn't want to pay and was talked into it or pressured into giving him a contract. Then they were just backing out of it and trying to steel the money back.

Would not surprise me if it was about money and I bet he wins in court well I am guessing they will settle on an amount and not go to court because Tech will come out looking like morons. Leech will have a new job if he wants some where else

I don't know how running the players name, parents reputation, and former employer through the mud does. It's crossed the line to trashy now.

This could hurt his next job search.

My question again is, WHY WOULD YOU KEEP HIM AROUND FOR THREE YEARS THEN MIKE!!??
