Interesting analysis. Some he puts on the WR, I don't necessarily agree with but he is one of the best offensive minds this league has seen. Should be fun to see all of the usuals try and argue with an offensive genius lol.

Lots of my pet peeve with WRs - waiting for the ball to come to them instead of attacking the ball.

Only the WR can do anything to help the play once the ball leaves the QB's hand.

Poor receiver play, sloppy scheme, and a QB who ultimately tries to overcompensate by playing hero ball.

If Dallas is committed to being a outside zone offense, then run it like San Francisco runs it and stop trying to show everyone how smart you are.

Definitely, and I do think Martz's opinion has a lot of weight. Especially since, like McCarthy, the WCO is a key part of his play designs and system. So, I think that he is a good person to understand what happened. I think it's key, especially on the route selections, that the WR be precise with the route running. Never want to give a DB a tell as to what the route is.

I think the shift to the WCO will be good for our WRs, as well as for Dak. I think part of the help will be the fact that the WRs will be able to maintain momentum on routes, which means that the DBs won't be able to clue in on the route.
Agreed, brother.

Just realized I said outside when I meant to say inside zone (or duo/gap, depending on whether the OL is blocking playside or backside).

Doesn’t matter what the discussion is about, the same groups are on opposite sides, Martz is a genius or Martz is meh.

Reminds me of the old Miller Lite commercials, the tastes great versus the less filling!
If Martz said it's all Daks fault the bash dak crowd would say finally someone who gets it. He is a genius. If Joe Bob burpee from XFL says it's Saks fault, they would say he belongs in NFL and is HOF material...

The positioning of the CB matters. I watched Troy Aikman throw comebacks to Michael Irvin for years, I know how timing routes go. You don't know how CBs play think Gilmore is going to give up his position, QB1 has to respect that man.
Gallup didn't even fight to under...lol he gave piss poor effort, that's a part of his atrocious route.

Better man won. Gilmore had outside leverage and was underneath the route. That route was dead at that point, especially with a quality CB.
Again as I stated in the other post, if he gives better effort and fight to get back the ball probably isn't intercepted

Nah, you just made moronic post #2. You referred to him and then said Martz did not always have top shelf talent - as if he was an example. Own it Einstein, don’t try to spin it. Like I said, go to Canton and take a sniff - if they let you.
It's a fact he was bagging groceries true or false, what's moronic is you think him playing in Martz offense didn't help take him to the Hof. Again before Martz he was working in a grocery store. Sniff that...lol

What’s moronic is you can’t escape what you wrote: Martz didn’t always have top shelf talent and a HOFer is your example ? Keep spinning, Missy.

lol

I was going to say this

Seems like time has warped our perception of Marty. He was almost considered a joke at the end of his career.
He went to a superbowl and nfc championship and won division multiple times....so now he is a joke because?...oh never mind he didn't criticize Dak so he doesn't know football. But a bunch of internet message board heros are all oh so smart... got it

53 wins?

Nice. Only about 30 less than Jason Garrett and only 1 more post season win. Garrett has more Super Bowl rings also.

You probably thought Martz was the HC when the Rams won the Super Bowl, huh?

Genius I tell ya.
Lol. Garrett has more rings...too funny.
You.equate a back up QB to a head coach who led his team to a superbowl. Like I said you are TMZ.

Tell us anything.....anything that's actually about football....anything

in daks first year when he threw so few INTs, i took note because a lot were simply dropped by the other side or over thrown to the point it would come back at him in the long run.

here we are. its just what he does. you can micro-analyze it all you want, but he'll keep doing it.
So almost interceptions LOL

Are there almost Receptions too?
